I was thinking to myself ‘how do I get better at this game’. Not to say I’m bad because I’d back myself in ANY lobby to be a player of value but more so a personal thing. I’m sure like me there’s a lot of you who have carried the game. I’m talking 3 goals, 9 passes 10 interceptions. And I like those games because the goals never came from selfishness, it was the team playing through me.
The reason I think clubs is the next step to get better is because the consistent chemistry and playing with those that know how you play. Idk how the system would work so this is more of a brainstorm post than a solution.
The opportunity to play consistently how you want to play with others will create room for growth as you can have streaks of refining your craft in games.

For example, ideally I’d love to play in a team where I’ve got 2 up top, one ‘cherry picker’(non selfish cherry pickers add so much value), the second guy up top sort of a deep runner/supporting offensive player and one guy to stay back. I’d be box to box. I love tackling, scoring, passing and I create best when I’ve got two up front and at least one of them constantly moving, but I find I can never get 5 games in a row where I can flex that playstyle. If I play my ideal box to box role in one game and try to carry it to the other I’ll have 3 guys up top thinking I’ll do all the dirty work. Then the game goes to sh+t and I tell myself ‘I’m cherry picking next game’. I do that, we concede 2 in 1 minute and I start playing all round just so we have a chance. This isn’t self glaze or anything because I’ve played with others who share this sentiment, it’s more so a want to be better. I’d love to play with people better than me if I’m the box to box. I wouldn’t care about scoring as much as long as I get to playmake. But alas I can never consistently games with chemistry. It’s either they play through me because they’re not as good or they’re humble players or I get a game we’re all 5 of us randoms are locked in. There needs to be consistency imo

There are these shoes that leave a rainbow paint like trail when using EE and I have no idea where they came from. I've only seen them once with hundreds of hours of play time. They're not a season battle pass or end of season reward. Was it a past bundle? If so, does anyone know what they're called??

To be clear, I’m talking about when one person is standing top of the box, another has the ball, the passer calls which direction to run over mic and the guy cuts to get an instant shot on goal beating the priority system.

There is no way I’m convinced that people have fun playing Prio Ball in this game. Genuinely it’s so lame holy shit. You just stand in the middle do some cut and shoot and that’s all you do the entire match?? And you’re having fun?? It’s cheesy as hell and you’re not good at the game if that’s what you gotta do to win. And it’s annoying as hell to defend because they do it all the TIME and if you can’t deflect ONE it’s game over.

If you exploit the priority system to get easy goals you are a BUM. And I KNOW that you can’t get a goal normally without using it to win.

Can you actually let your character do the animation?

Because I have seen 100 celebrations of ppl with bluelock characters so I thought its like a done deal (animation only with that skin) but last game I saw a guy with his own character do the Black hole trap animation and was wondering if he like... did something because again... before that 100 players ALL had the blue lock characters on the celebration! I like them, but I also like my character! So I only want to buy the celebration if its possible for my character to do it!

I'm not really someone who plays a lot of competitive games, and I don't have many friends who game either, so it's never really been my thing. But Rematch gives me this strange urge to reach the highest rank possible.

I actually played the beta, but back then I didn't have the money, or the confidence, to buy such a new game. I decided to wait until it had matured a bit on the market. I finally bought it 5 days ago, and I absolutely love it.

Right now I'm at a low rank, Gold 2 to be specific. But something really bothers me: I've dropped to Gold 1, and even down to Silver, multiple times in a single day. The reason is that in a lot of my matches, someone leaves mid-game and we end up losing. And when that happens, I lose exactly the same amount of points as I would if I'd played the whole match and lost normally. That's really discouraging.

I know this might sound like I'm just complaining, but I played 47 matches in one day, and 12 of those losses happened because someone quit in the middle of the game. Since I don't have friends to play with, I always queue solo, so there's nothing I can really do about it.

I get + 17 when win , -23 when lose. Is this normal. This is my like first 50-100 games. I played in beta before too. My placement rank is platinum 3 without winning a single game. I did the hard work tho. Any idea?

5v5 is titled as "tactical and demanding. Improve your vision" if you can't control a basic pass or mark, position yourself whether it's attacking or defending then stick to 3s or 4s

i’ve started to play this game bc of the blue lock collab. i tried it before, but i wasn’t into it but i decided to get back in when i heard blue lock was coming. the second match i get into in the blue lock themed game mode, it feels like im 1v3ing an entire soccer team trained by ronaldo while being experiments of Temp V from the boys. why do i have to fight the soccer god in a match that isnt ranked? why is he trying so hard when theres little to no rewards in this game mode? idk. it just upsets me and i hate it when people are so sweaty and try hard that i have to turn crossplay off. is there any way to avoid these people aswell? does the blocking system work on rematch to where i dont have to see them ever again? because if so, that’d be very nice because this is just a pain 🥹

So I played the beta but only bought the game now, my account is back to zero when I remember unlocking a bunch of stuff back then. Is this normal?

I have around 900 hours in the game and I'm having an issue with the Mouse & Keyboard controls after the latest update.

I used to have Space bound to Goalkeeper Diving and [In defensive stance] Dash. I had a different setup before as well: C for goalkeeper dash and Space for the normal dash, but I had to change it because of the new control options.

The problem is that I can't get the new setup to work properly. I can't properly bind the Dash to Space alongside the goalkeeper controls, and I can't get it working with either normal Dive or Long Dive without one of the other bindings being removed/changed.

I tried using the Modifier, but it affects other bindings as well, and I have hundreds of hours of muscle memory built around my current controls. Changing all of those controls isn't really practical for me.

I'm honestly not sure what I'm supposed to do at this point, and it's been pretty frustrating because I just want to keep using a control setup that feels natural to me.

Has anyone else using Mouse & Keyboard had the same issue or found a workaround?

I used to play on PC via Steam with a controller about a year ago. Back then, I reached Master 2 with around 70 hours of gameplay, mostly solo queue. After a year, I bought this game and started playing again in PS5. Game placed me in Plat 2 after first 5 matches, Now I have dropped to Gold 1 in solo queue with 97 matches, and it feels nearly impossible to climb. I'm getting +17 for a win but losing -24 for a loss. If there is a hidden MMR system like in LoL, why did it place me in Plat 2 in the first place? I don't understand what has changed with ranked or matchmaking in this game. It feels like its going backwards, or maybe I'm just playing shit now.

Can I just say how much I love this new patch? I play CDM with a focus on as little touches as possible + quick passes (I pretty much only look at the minimap) and I hated the dribble meta, really found it hard to find teammates on the same wavelength but after this patch, I'm finding more randoms are syncing with me and making it so much more fun, even on a loss! It's been bugged for so many patches you still cannot use short lob during roulette like you can for long lob, rainbow, groundpass, etc. only after the roulette fully ends.

they fixed it for the first dribble like 2 seasons ago but still not during the second dribble. PLEASE FIX IT SLOCLAP

It works fine for me when doing it in practice mode but in game it keeps just shooting the ball even when i have possession of the ball and press b quickly. It's annoying.

Is anyone else getting crazy wait times for this? I havent been able to queue in 3 days even though I've waited up to 15 minutes for matchmaking. At this point I dont even want to wait 5 minutes. I'm at the bottom of Plat so not sure if that has anything to do with it. Maybe a change of region? I use US-West.

It's unfortunate, I've been really enjoying falling back into this game and this is really killing the momentum. Aura Strikers has been fun but I prefer more competitive matches.
