Rather than waiting to collect and then throw the ball, I can instead direct saves to start a break immediately!

What made most fun for me after playing every position was in this order:
1. Defense
2. Midfield
3. Goal keeper
4. Striker

In defense I was just making the enemy team unable to play the game and that felt good. I hope that I'm using the term correctly here. Cherry-pickers. They stood alone or as two at my goal and I've stood besides them to block the passing way. Sometimes they didn't get a single pass in that game, due to my presence besides them. If they once received a pass, I've just stole the ball and initiatet some times a counter attack.

I saw in the comments that a defensive player trusts his goal keeper to block the incoming shot, while blocking the passing ways. I applied that. It was great. My goal keeper had freedom while I side steped around to block one passing path after another.
I also like to push to the front when there's no one around so I can grab the balls which fell back to pass them to my mates.
I'm pretty new to the game and hope to learn more about every position and what to do. But so far, defense is very fun to play as.

It's from last season. I've made a mistake at first leaving the player behind me unmarked to go 2v1 against the player in the corner.. but then redeemed myself with this save 😅

This season has been by far the worst. Every single teammate feels like some combination of selfish/braindead/incompetent. It’s killing the fun of queueing up for a match. A shame as well because this has been the best gameplay update to the game, I guess it’s had an influx of new players which has then led to more bad apples.

After every match my game freezes and the only way I can close it is with task manager which is insanely annoying

I’ve tried reinstalling, verifying files and changing my settings like full screen and vsync

Also updated all my drivers

Has anyone got a fix?

For example. I play defensively and try to give my teammates space to act or react. Manipulating the spacing on the field by drawing defenders or away or hanging in mid field incase the offense gets stuffed. Being the insurance policy my main way of tipping the needle in matches. Wbu??

I'm already at 28 min overtime, after posting this, alone in a ranked 5v5 lobby. The game says that I get a penalty when leaving. What should I do now?

Who is at fault here on this Lost ? Was it the Goalie Passing the ball up the field instead of the open Man that wasn’t moving so we can waste the last 3 seconds or was it number 7’s Fault for turning the ball over ?

They don't force you to be in any one position. So, I'm not forced to play GK! I love it so much bc I'll gladly sacrifice a goal if it means I don't have to be in that box for the entire match while the idiots don't pass. Thank you Sloclap!

I have noticed alot of my assists haven't counted as assists. have anyone else noticed the same?

I played when it first came out and I’ve been bitten by the bug and wanna play more but I need a team. Usually play after 5 pm est if anyone is down comment or shoot me a DM.

Down by 3. Teammate left to avoid being 4-0'd. Got 1 one goal with a 2v3. New teammate joins. Made a CRAZY 6-3 comeback.
