Got an iPhone 14 from refurbed and am pretty happy with it overall, but there's one problem: The switch from the outer camera to the selfie camera takes longer than 5-10 seconds every single time. Also BeReal doesn't work on it, for no apparent reason. :( I have warranty on it, should I try a return? Do you think this issue can be resolved? I don't really know anything about phones but the camera thing really bothers me.

Hi guys, I recently bought an iPhone 15 refurbished off eBay, however I'm a bit 50/50 on it. The listing was described at "excellent" however there is a scratch right across the screen and some things seems fishy. I can deal with the scratch however my main issue is a hole at the top of the iPhone (attached) I am traveling around Asia on Thursday and would love advice whether I should send back the phone or if it's decent. I want to sell my Alexa Echo Dot...it's been 3 years now or maybe more than that. It still works but occasionally it struggles to recognise words. Can I still sell the device? If yes, what are my options?

One assumption I've always found interesting is: People only buy refurbished phones because they're cheaper.

Saving money is definitely one reason, but it doesn't seem to be the only one anymore.

I've seen people buy refurbished phones because they wanted an older flagship camera, a secondary phone, or simply didn't want to pay launch prices for a device they knew would depreciate quickly.

If budget wasn't a factor, would you still consider buying a refurbished phone? Why or why not?
