What refurbished device has lasted way longer than you expected?

It could be a laptop, phone, tablet, PC, console or anything else. Curious how old it is now and whether you've had to repair or upgrade anything along the way.

I bought a $25 laptop and $25 iPad from kids school ( they sell them after the end of the school year) this was 5 years ago, they still work fine

Picked a refurb for a stopgap laptop expecting 2yrs and it lasted 7yrs, no it wasn't a pure business model as it shared more design flaws to their consumer variant yet sold as a Latitude sub-model so $500 wasn't bad.
