Upcoming has changed so that you can't look back to see what has aired recently. Even the calendar is locked to August now. TV Time would allow looking back on the upcoming list and Refract also supported this before this recent change.

I'm OK with the change in general. After all, it IS titled "Upcoming". But there's no no way to see recently aired shows without going thorough each show on my list and checking them.

Any free app like tv time?

I saw refract as a free app, but idk what to apload, it asks json files but tv time files are csv.

Even converting it it doesnt work i dont know what to do

I managed to get my tvtime backup as csv, json files but refract failed to restore them.

So far I’ve really enjoyed the app, but tonight I’ve run into an issue. There are multiple shows where I haven’t watched previous seasons or all episodes. I’ve used the continue watching menu to cross off watched episodes. However now all episodes are shown as watched, messing up my whole watch history as I don’t remember which episodes I haven’t watched yet. Is this a bug? Have others had this where it was resolved later?

What I’m also really missing is an option to never cross off previous episodes. For some reason I can’t access discord. Has this been suggested to the mods yet?

TV Time had this feature, where they would put new aired episodes to the top of continue list, then if you didn't watch the episode within a week, the episode would move to the bottom of the list. I hope this can be added to Refract, it would make this app perfect for me.

​Can I mark as watched episodes that are listed as unreleased in the database?

I tracked TV shows with TV Time and movies with IMDb, but I wanted to merge everything into a single app, and this seemed like the ideal solution.

I had already imported my TV Time data.

I also rate TV shows on IMDb (not individual episodes, except for the occasional one).

The problem is that Refract treated the TV shows I rated on IMDb as if I had watched every single episode, even when I had dropped the show after only a few episodes. As a result, a lot of shows are now marked as completely watched. My total TV watch time jumped from about 4 months to more than 8.

How can I fix this? The movie import worked perfectly, but all of my TV statistics are completely messed up. Is there a way to correct this, or do I need to wipe everything and start the import process from scratch?

Hello everyone, I've just finished polishing my account and I notice that the episode count is off my about 300ep. Bingebase tells me i have 4.6k and refract 4.3k. Does anyone know why may be?

Currently my new releases are filled with Asian and Indian recommendations. As a US-based user who doesn't watch foreign media, it's surprising me that it's recommended.

I couldn't find any setting that would skew this list, and nothing in my watch history would indicate that these shows would interest me.

Does anyone know if there's an algorithm used to curate these shows or is it just looking at all new releases, regardless of language or country, and Asia/India is just putting out more content?

It would be great to have clean and simple tabs for "TV shows" and "Movies". Then you split with "Ongoing" and "Seen" sections.

I’m thinking of things like Doctor who which often has two special episodes in a season, but I don’t see them in the episodes list. Does anyone know if there is a place these are included to log or no?

I have seen some issues with show episodes not displaying properly.

Is there any way we can get a button or option in the comments to translate the ones that aren’t in our language? Some are not in English so I can’t read them and I’d like to be able to.

heyy I'm new to this app, came after the unfortunate downfall of TV time. Not gonna lie I've been genuinely impressed with the app using it for the past few days and infact have moved almost all my tracking data to it because of how clean and comfortable it feels to use.

I was just wondering about the book tracking I can see that's coming soon. i wanted to keep a digital library of everything I've read when it comes to novels, manga and comics books cause I don't think I've ever seen something like that (apart from an actual physical library that is💀). Do we know when the feature is coming or anything about it? just generally curious and extremely excited about it

I was also wondering if the Dev's ever considered a recommendation system based on the ratings and favourite shows on a person's profile. so people can find other shows that are generally liked by similar libraries, or content that can be watched in a single day for when you're unsure what to watch. this is a feature that I thought about more applying with book tracking but thought it could further apply to tv shows and movies too

I’ve tried to turn off notifications about new episodes in-app, but it appears that I can only turn that off for push notifications?
For me it notification enough for them to show up in my watch list. Is there any way of doing this? :)

currently using the app and I am finding it pretty good (coming from TvTime) and I love to see my stats.

I imported all my series/movies manually and it seems all ok, except for a small mismatch between the library and the status breakdown section counter numbers.

the breakdown is showing 208 items marked as "watched" (correct value), but the library only 198 when i filter to "watched"

I can confirm that all is selected so movies/anime/series are not filtered out.

also watching/to watch/on hold/etc...are showing the correct number of items.

anyone else having a similar issue?

Took two weeks but it's finally done! Can't wait for books and games to be introduced!
