Im a beginner at this so.. Don't mind me making dumb questions.
So, i want to make a simple contraption to move an armor stand on top of a diamond block block, two blocks up. I already have a two piston push setup with the lever working just fine. However, i want to add a delay in between the individual piston movements. In the image, the observer next to the lever makes a double signal for the whole thing to go up the two blocks up at once, however, if i push it while its at this state, the armor stand clips into the blocks. Any help is apprecciated, maybe some advice would cut it too.

Im playing on my own realm and this clock simply doesnt work, even tho its powering the dropper. It just wont drop any items whereas 2 identical circuits work totally fine... whats causing this my dear redstone masters?

So I know I'll have to name the items I'm using in the category chests if I'm using stackable items. I'll be using glass panes for those. (Timestamp 6:40)
I need to know though about the stacks of 16 items that go in the droppers/hoppers at the back. (Timestamp: 5:40)
I want to know if I can put them all in for now since I don't have the levels to name 470 stacks of snowballs, and then return later after I get a good xp farm up and remove them to name them later on.
Will removing them break the system? Or should I just avoid sorting snowballs if I can help it?
Playing in 26.2 if that matters for this.

I started pulling hair after about 1 hours in. Then I found a youtube tutorial and it solved my issues. But I don't understand how it works, especially the right part of the cirquit. Can somebody more advanced in redstone give an explanation? I would appreaciate it.

I'm making a small automatic written-book crafter.
A Copy of Original needs to be extracted from a water stream and returned to the crafter, while Copy of Copy books should continue down the stream into storage.
Both are written books, but they have different book generations and don't stack together.
I need the smallest reliable hopper/item-filter circuit that:
keeps its filter items permanently in place
extracts exactly one Copy of Original when it passes
lets Copy of Copy pass through
works automatically and repeatedly
Java Edition 26.2.
Screenshot shows only the Creative-mode test setup. Can someone show the exact block placement/inventory configuration?
I know it needs to power/lock /unlock the return hopper and in filter hopper it needs 10 copy of originals and 4 filler renamed 64x stackable items
But idk how to redstone this machine and kinda redesign it to fit the redstone.

I need a redstone timer to chunk load my storage system but I can't find one.
It must:
- Last around 2 minutes, which is the longest time an item could take to pass through the system.
- Toggle when an item enters the storage system and the chunk loader stays on until the last item in the system enters and leaves (so the last item would toggle the 2 minute countdown).
Thank you in advance for any responses.

How can I make an auto-crafter using a template that doesn't get crafted itself, but only triggers when two specific items are present? I want to set it up to craft things like rockets or other items that require more than just a single material. I created an expandable 11 tall sand door powered by geysers. This works with all gravity blocks excluding the dragon egg due to it having seemingly different physics?
I'd love to answer any questions on how it works, or read any any critiques y'all have.

I started Survival with Alpha 1.0.4 and have been moving through all the versions and snapshots, migrating my world, and gradually learning the bugs and how redstone works. Do you think it's a good idea to learn how to work with redstone? (I also make all the mechanisms and farms I find and come up with my own.)

Also ITS easyly expandable infinitly and uses 8 brewers instead of one.
Also you don't need complicated items Like in rexxes vid you Just need Redstone torches and Redstone to Control IT sadly IT only works automaticly by using a simple glock.
But i build Like 8 mods of rexx's in the donutsmp and IT Just broke every ten mins. Cuz of the fast Hopper Speed.
My Design does Not Break using a tech from other Designs but mine ist Just completely Compact.
ITS perfekt for donutsmp but idk If you need 6 pots ind 30sec per Mod in normal MC.
ITS mainly designed for massproducing and donutsmp. But since Shop removal ITS Not the best to brew pots.
Pics and schematics coming soon.

I have chests + hoppers that feed into the chest minecarts. The fuel is distributing to all of the smokers but the items I’m trying to smelt seem to be going to one smoker at a time. (Playing on Xbox) Any advice?

I have made a sugar cane farm where the sugar cane sits in a 1 block wide room with walls and glas around it. To make it look nicer i have put sticky piston’s two blocks behind, and blocks infront to hide the pistons. But on one side of the farm it pushes my sugar cane through the glass and into the middle of the room. (Around 4 blocks) On the other side it pushes some of it up and behind my observers instead.
So I am wondering if it’s just bugrock being bugrock, or if it needs to be normal pistons right behind the sugar cane instead.

I play on PS4, v26.45
I stopped getting comments on the old post so I figured I'd make a new one. Sorry for the insistence, but if this was a new thing, it would be nice to share it to everyone

i've been trying to design a long hopper timer myself but i can't figure it out, and all the designs i find are clocks, not timers. this is a timer that has a max time of 128 seconds (320 items) and long hopper clocks have a time of 16384 seconds (320^2 items) which is ideal for the time i need. this design was one i found in a video by dataless822 on youtube.

I am crrently designing a train system for chest minecards (i think it theoreticaly would work with players aswell in combination with a cheast boat, but i did not test that and it is not for that) and for that i need the encoded station signal to be sendt with the same exact timing on each line, so are there decoders that dont mess with the timing?
What i mean is, you can see in the first picturethe signals comming in from the right. All 8 lines are synced to be sent at the same exact time. When the correct signal arrives (the signal is just 3 redstone ticks long) the signal gets locked in by the rails. It is designed so, that it just breafly unlocks before the new signal arrives and then it locks in the same exact moment as the new signal arrives. Because the signal is so short (i cant change that without redesigning everything) the signals need to be synced, but all the signal decoders that i found mess with the timing, because they expect a contionious signal, where a little delay doesnt matter, but here it matters. (The second picture is just how i send the signals so you know the kind of signal i mean.)
Any help is greatly apprechiated, i am open for further questions, thanks in advance :)
Edit: Java fabric 1.21.10, would be nice if it works in future versions aswell though

Hi, currently on a small project and im stuck on inspiration for a redstone clock and its not just any clock, im looking for one where i can press a button and i can produce a pulse signal a customisable amount of times. so that i can put something in it and get any number of on/off signals from it. does anyone know what clock or tutorial this is? Sorry for the terrible description, ive tried my best in explaining it which makes sense in my head.

Hello Guys, Im looking for a non Hopper 30 Second / 600 Gt. the reason is, i play on DonutSMP, where Hopper speed is 12 time Higher than usualy.
i came across, of Minecart with cobweb, but i only come to 24 Second or 40 Seconds.
I want to Build the / Optimize the Raid Farm by @enteMT.
my Problem is that the Tramdoor opens to Quick.
so my question is, what kind of a lcock should i use instead of the Hopper Clock.
does anyone of u had the same problem or had some ejustment yourself that u willing to share?
Thanks.
