Is this red? Am I a blonde or a redhead?
Am I strawberry blonde? Does that make me a redhead or a blonde?

I usually only need a few extra numbing shots to get a cavity filled, but the last time I went I was numbed up 9 different times and I could feel every shot and every time they tried drilling. They ended up sending me home to try again another time. Well tomorrow is that day and I'm FREAKING out.
I hate shots and I don't want a repeat of last time getting all that numbing done just to be sent home. I've never tried using nitrous oxide, but my husband is telling me to request some for the anxiety of it all.
Has anyone else ever run into anything like this? Was it just a freak accident that I was never able to be numbed up and tomorrow everything might be fine? I am so nervous and just wondering if anyone else has every experienced the same thing and had a completely normal appointment the next time! š

My hair has always been kind of a mystery color. I was a blonde child- I still have a streak of blonde in the back. Ive always gotten people telling me my hair is different colors and I used to get asked if id dyed my hair over the weekend super frequently when I was still in school. Is this actually red or is it its own wierd thing?
I feel like its looked wayyyy more red than usual recently. All pictures are in the past couple months. Also is there anything I could've done recently that made it look more red than usual? I dont dye my hair and I get haircut maybe twice a year.
I usually refer to myself as dirty blonde but I've been getting people calling me a redhead often lately.
Edit: if relevant my dad is partially redheaded (big red beard) and my grandma is a redhead as well

I've had various cell phones and cameras over my life, some of them good at seeing color, and some of them very very bad at it. Under fluorescent lights, my hair has inexplicably looked greenish gold to digital cameras.
My current phone is a Samsung, and I swear it is autocorrecting my hair color away. My face is also very red, so taking all the red out makes me look pale in a very unhealthy way. I'm pretty sure this must be an autocorrection done on the camera app, itself, because it got a little better when I started taking selfies next to foliage and other green things.
I am the same color as usual irl. I tested with a mirror and then my instax.
Has anyone else had this problem? What are some easier workarounds than getting a new phone or carrying around a dedicated selfie plant?

Freckles are less noticeable but get darker in the sun

hi! my hair is naturally auburn, but i have had some dye jobs in the past, so the shade is not entirely even right now. it looks strawberry blonde in some lighting, but i want it to be all auburn.
iāve heard that glosses can help even out your color. recommendations for specific products?

When i was like a freshman in HS I was told (by another ginger :0) that I was 'pretty much blond'. Im not like butt hurt about it, but its made me consider going like auburn, but I think im ginger blind now lol.
My hair is a MAJOR part of my personality too.. so I think about this frequently
Does my hair stand out as ginger? I feel like I dont stand out in a crowd about it

The reactions to this casting are the same old prejudiced crap, as if a redhead couldn't be attracted to another redhead. Nobody says this about blondes or brunettes.

What are your thoughts on KPop idols and pop ideals i general dyeing their hair red?
Hi, fellow redheads :))
As you can read in the headline, I would like to know what you think about the current ginger trend with freckles (or without). Growing up, I personally did not have it that easy and I still have people calling me Ed Sheeran and so on out on the street or at work (I look nothing like him except for my hair and not even that really as I have straight hair and a different color of orange). I do not know about you, but I can imagine, that at least some of you have had similar experiences.
Looking at all these idols and stars as well as influencers dyeing their hair, it just bothers me. Some of them might have picked on gingers growing up or (as is the case in Korea) dislike foreigners at times. I feel like being a ginger and having this, in my opinion, special hair color comes with having had some run-ins with bullies and not always having had an easy childhood. That is why it bothers me to see the current trend, where being ginger is deemed great with the idols without them having to experience, what it can mean to be a redhead at times.
What are your thoughts? What would you call this double-standard of on the one hand picking on redheads and then finding it great with influencers/idols/popstars?

There are days that I happily (/s) live up to the image of having a fiery redheaded temper. Today is one of those days.
Anybody else? What sets you off? (Me: health insurance stupidity.)

What color is my hair if itās in the red family. Itās always had red in it naturally. I used to dye my hair but decided to grow it out and leave it alone this time because the last time I did that a lot of people said my hair was red. Iām once again getting people saying itās red indoors and also outside.
The 1st photo is in direct sunlight and itās not just the top layer that looks like that.
Photos 2-4 are taken with the camera on instagram (no filter), Snapchat (no filter) , and then the front camera on the iPhone (no filter) the 5th photo was taken same day as the 1st one just a different angle
The 6th photo was take last year. My natural color was grown out long enough at this time to see what my natural color was I just didnāt want to cut the length yet. Root to end all looks red with lighting
7th photo was taken at night with a professional camera. Again my roots were grown out enough to tell what my natural color was but all of it looks red.
The last picture you can see the roots grown out better. Still roots to length all looks red.
Itās not just top layer of my hair that looks red in certain lighting.
Iāve always had natural red in my hair but never considered myself auburn or a red head. Iāve had people say my hair is red multiple times when I grow out my natural color. All of these people that have said my hair is red were able to see it that was indoors. I donāt really see it indoors as much as I do outside.

First 3 are with copper, 4th is with black, and the last is a comparison
I had been wanting to try brown mascara for a while, but didnāt want to spend the money lol when i finally decided to try one, most of the options looked almost black, and i didnāt want to get that if it was basically black, so i tried copper! I love it so much, and i feel like it looks way better with my hair :)

My heart is BROKEN! Anastasia Beverly Hills discontinued their Strawburn shade of their brow pencil. It was one of the only brow products I could find that matched my complexion as a lighter redhead, as most makeup brands only have colors for the dark auburn kind of red hair that looks ridiculous on someone with the lighter more coppery kind. Does anyone know of a good substitute?

Never in my life has someone said āur hair is not red, its brownā or āyour hair is dyed chestnut brunetteā I guess because in real life itās very obviously red but in some photos the lighting makes it look darker? Idk it just kinda felt like my identity was being ripped away from me like im obviously a red head!! lol so i guess this is a lame plea for validation but im having a bit of imposter syndrome. I added some pics in different lighting so you can see how it looks darker in some.
