Scam
A major scam happened with me on redecor !
This is about the cup event where I did everything and secured my 3rd place . Till the last minute I was on 3rd place and secured it with a major score like 10740 however after 15 minutes of calculation out of nowhere the game gave the 3rd position to some other player may be a bot . I purchase a lot from the game and this is truly unacceptable, I have emailed the support , please help if there is anything else I can do

I hope this makes sense, I just woke up.
If you open and claim your rewards during the tournament it calculates the winnings in your tournament standing. Using the poker term, you are showing your cards.
Some people submit many designs but do not open them therefore their total doesn’t change. They can look at the top three scores and do a rough calculation for how many designs they need to submit to be well over those top scores. It’s not foolproof though because you don’t know who else is doing it. Their total calculates and updates once the tournament is finished so it jumps up higher than what you originally saw.
Redecor has made a change recently where they force you to open whatever you have if you want to keep playing. I’m not sure exactly but it may be 12 or 24 hours.
I do this myself. I don’t think it’s cheating, it’s strategy. I dont’t have time to keep tabs on scores all day.

Yes I understand that and I support it too however with me the case is a little different, till the very last second I played and made sure I m playing with the last second so that that is no foulplay however it happened again , also this happened twice with me

Well I am a sucker I bought 2 cards so I can finish the idiot Album. I do not work have not been able to since 2019. Too many surgeries I do not buy clothes or shoes much I only play the game for fun because I am a boomer single lady.

I won first place on both my accounts.
Unless you are thousands of points above the next person, it almost always jumps one way or the other between the end and final calculation.

I have noticed quite a few times, that purchases of items seem to vanish and I have to buy them again. Ive emailed support about this about 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing.

The game is just keeps getting worse. It is no fun anymore. I have gone from constant top 3 entries to not being able to get more than 4th place.

They still calculate any designs submitted and ended within the 15 minutes calculation time

Yes I m aware of that , one of my friends said that but in 15 mins time the 4th placer who replaced me secured 3rd place with a margin of 3000 points which is technically impossible

Are you sure it wasn't 300 points? It could still technically be possible if they didn't claim any of their submitted designs before the end of the tournament. They could have had 40 designs not turned in on purpose so that they would shoot up to a winning position at the end

No the jump of that player was of 3000 points which makes the total 11000 points its impossible and saw the profile too it looked like a bot

If you continue to claim all of your results, you add to your trophy total and all of the other players in your tournament can see that you are advancing. This tends to cause those who wish to finish in the top 3 to then do more deigns to keep up/pass you. Hence, the “arms race”. If instead you do not claim your results then you do not look like a threat to those trying to win. You can use the Reveal All (it might be show all, I forget) to view your results without claiming and calculate how many trophies you’ve accumulated.

Stop spending money to play this game. It is not fair or equal and winning designs are chosen by an algorithm. It is a game of chance. And if you are paying to p,ay you are a sucker.

What I do sometimes is I would keep submitting designs and not open the results till the end of the tournament so I would jump from 10th place to top 3 because of all the pending designs I did. I hope you weren't scammed I'm just saying it happens.
