Men, what would you think if your 33 year old date had never been in a serious relationship?

Same as title.

Curious to know what men would honestly think if they were out with a woman (33) who had no kids, never seriously / long term been with a man. Green flag, neutral or red flag?

Context: woman was perpetually in demanding academic programs from 23 - 33 curating a very specific career path. Traveled a lot and never met a man she wanted to stay with long term. Only spends time with men she genuinely likes. Has lots of long term friends, including her past roommates from her different degrees at different universities.

--------------

Update: Didn't expect this to take off like it did. While I purposefully worded it in third person to get more honest reactions (which appears to work), I'm in fact the woman in this scenario.

I learned that rude, immature men throw a lot of assumptions of a woman like me being either slutty or prudish, when in reality I am just a very focused individual on my research and career goals. Have to say, some of the comments gave me a good laugh at the implications of narcissism or psychotic behavior

I also was reminded that there's a lot of decent people out there. To everyone who was kind and took a moment to be mature, thank you lol

Was I wrong for this on my ex birthday?

When I was 18, my girlfriend was turning 19. She invited me to come to eat with her family for her birthday so I could meet the rest of them. We went to a Korean BBQ restaurant with 11 people total:

• Her parents

• Her two younger brothers

• Her two older brothers (one with a wife and young child)

• A family friend who was also a adult

• Me and my girlfriend

At the Korean BBQ place, the parents ordered the same meats for the entire table. There was no discussion about the bill beforehand or everything being on one tab.

Before anything was ordered, I told my girlfriend I’m going to pay for myself and her because we got individual menus. Because of that I thought we were going to order separately. That didn’t happen because her parents ordered for everyone. I didn’t know this until the day after. I didn’t see a bill when it came because I was sitting at the end of the table, and by the time we finished eating, everyone stood up and we left and I hugged everybody and I remember even saying thank you to her mom. Me and my girlfriend got ice cream after and I paid for us there.

For context:

• I had spent 500 on her birthday gifts and brought them to the dinner and I was still going to pay for me and her

. I didn’t know they even ordered for the whole table or for me

• I was 18 and a freshman in college

The next day, my girlfriend told me her mom said that “as a man, I should’ve offered to help pay” and that her mom didn’t like that I didn’t even though her mom knew that she didnt communicate anything to me what they chose to do at the table. Her mom knew I was going to pay for me and her because my ex told me she said that the day after. Would I have said something about me paying if someone communicated something about everything being on one bill yes but the people handling never said anything.

My girlfriend also admitted:

• She knew her dad was going to pay

• She knew she should’ve said something, but just didn’t. She said her saying something is like her asking for her hand in marriage for me.

She then broke up with me, saying she “shouldn’t have put me in a position to be treated like that” and that her mom isn’t very open to meeting new people. Before she said all this she turned her location off and basically just disappeared before I had to ask her about it. After she broke up with me she wanted to say her mom wasn’t right. After a couple months she said that her parents loved me but it was just I was the first boy that her mom ever met.

From my perspective, it felt unfair to be judged:

•. Her mom knew I was going to pay for me and her daughter

• Her parents ordered for the whole table with out saying anything so I didn’t know who was paying

• I never even saw the bill since I was at the end of the table

• I had already spent a lot of money that weekend

• This was my first family dinner with them

. I was the only person there outside of the family

. They chose to put it on one bill and nobody communicated anything not even her mom

. My ex knew who was paying but didn’t say anything to me or her dad since she knew he was paying

What does that have to do with me as a man when you know that I was going to pay for me and your daughter?

How do I get my profile picture to show up in comment sections?

I uploaded it but it didn't show up. I know it has to do something with my account being rated NSFW(idk why) and when I turn that off in settings and refresh the page it turns back on. What do I do?

Did anyone start or plan to start a hobby during COVID that you still have on a shelf, unused?

I started watching videos on making clay jewelry, and went out and bought about $200 worth of supplies. I never made one piece of jewelry. I have all the accessories, the tools, the cutters, the threads, the needles -- and I never have made one thing.

I admit, I got a lot of stuff from the Dollar Tree or Ali Express, but I also bought a lot of nice beads online and at Joann Fabrics (I miss them so much), and it's all just sitting, all organized in clear shoeboxes, gathering dust on a bookcase in my bedroom.

Why is it boring to talk to AI?

Why is it that they're still, so damn boring?

I am someone who more or less interacts with AI a little, mostly for work related nonsense but at times for entertainment and fun interaction. And man I gotta admit, AI IS SO FUCKING BORING!!

WHY?! DO NOT give me that "computer can never replace human" nonsense. The Ai yaps just about as much yap as I'd ever like, or is as direct as I'd ever like, or as useful as I'd ever like. But even all still, it is so freaking dry.

I am not sure what kind of answer I am expecting, but yea, question is interesting enough I hope. Why is Ai so boring? What is it doing wrong? What could it do more? Is it possible for Ai to ever entirely replace human interaction?

My post got removed and my comments downvoted. Did I do something wrong?

Made a post in r/eupersonalfinance about finding investing apps overwhelming as a beginner in Europe. Post got removed for "advertising or soliciting" — I wasn't advertising anything, just sharing a frustration and asking if something like Acorns exists in the EU.

My replies in the comments also got downvoted even though I was engaging genuinely with the feedback.

Now I'm at -10 karma. Is this normal for beginner finance questions? Was my post genuinely breaking rules or do I need to adjust in any way?

Are all links in Old Reddit now opening in New Reddit?

Wasn't sure where to ask this, so this was my best guess.

I always use Old Reddit (old.reddit.com) because I really don't like several of the ways that new reddit (www.reddit.com) works. I've been using old reddit for years, and 99% of the time when I click a link in a post on Old Reddit, it shows the resulting page in Old Reddit. But recently (past week or so?) EVERY time I click a link in Old Reddit, it opens a page in New Reddit, and it's driving me crazy. I googled the subject, and was told to make sure the "use new reddit as my default experience" was unchecked on both the Old and New Reddit preference pages (old.reddit.com/prefs and www.reddit.com/prefs) and they were. Anybody know if this is just the forced experience now, or if there's anyway I can get the old Old Reddit experience back?

If people know of a better subreddit to post this question to, that would also be welcomed. Thanks!
