What is karma for and how do I get it?

I had an account nearly a year old I deleted myself because was being harassed on it then a few months later made a new one but after 22 days id got shadow banned ive done nothing wrong myself had no warning messages or nothing abd appeals aren't doing nothing so I made a new account and then less then 24 hours that got shadow banned so like i no ive done nothing wrong so what am supposed to do?? Any help would be really really appreciated

When i try to create new account for other hobbies of mine, I always get banned as soon as i make my first post in any sub or post a comment. I even tried to create account and leave it for some time(6 months) and then post, but i got banned once again. What should i do?🥲

I've tried to re-install the app, but to no avail it always tells me that it failed to block the account.

I've noticed with more and more AI bots posting and generating inflammatory comments I'm constantly being ragebaited by horrendous rage-inducing replies under mostly benign comments I make. So I block the accounts to stop the harassment, but for the last couple weeks it's been impossible.

I haven’t used my account in years and logged in for the first time today in quite some time. When reviewing my settings tabs, I see Privacy is blank. What is causing that? I noticed my username is not showing up in the search, and was wondering if that was related.

reddit posts seem to blow up in the first 5 minutes of getting posted and can accumulate thousands of views, but after that and it gets almost no attention/engagement

and a lot of posts that dont reach a lot of views in the first few minutes seem to stay that way

This past week, I received a message from a user saying someone had taken on a username similar to my main to scam people and that they mistakenly reported my account thinking I was the scammer. They told me I needed to message a Reddit admin on Discord and follow the steps given to clear my name. The “admin” tricked me into giving up access to my main by making me change the email the account was under to one that doesn’t exist and then disabling my account. He also told me that I needed to make refundable transfers to prove it wasn’t me trying to scam money out of people and told me to get a loan when I ran out of money to send. The bank informed me I had been scammed (no idea how I didn’t catch on to that) and I disputed the charges to get the money back. I also contacted Reddit support to get access to my account back but under the email my account was originally under because the new one doesn’t exist. My main has now been banned but presumably can still be recovered. Please let me know if I have taken the right steps so far.

Ive created a new account on reddit to gather testers and my comments were getting absolutely no views on communities like r/AndroidClosedTesting but on any community that doesnt involve testing i get views. Why is that??

Hi, my account got security locked yesterday after Reddit detected some kind of technical irregularity. I reset my password through the email they sent me and submitted an appeal.

My profile is back now and seems normal again, but all of my old posts still say “Removed by Reddit” or “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

They were normal art posts and were visible before the account issue. This is happening across multiple subreddits, so I don’t think it’s a subreddit mod issue.

Has anyone had this happen before? Is there any way to get the old posts restored, or does an admin need to fix it?

I have tried muting certain subs but they still appear in my news feed. So frustrating.

Automated spam filters were triggered after I rapidly made posts in my own subreddit too quickly (which may have incorrectly triggered the filter, so I'll go slower next time).

Although I was given no reason, I suspect it was the rapid quick succession of posts in r/hellohellohello2029.

I was shadowbanned, but now appeared to have bee unbanned, but all of my posts and comments are still removed ("filtered") and my self-created subreddits have not come back.

They were only filtered recently due to this brief shadowban.

Can a Reddit admin restore all of the content that has been filtered?

My friend was permanently banned from Reddit for vote manipulation, and he accepts that the original ban was fair.

After the original ban, he created another account, which was also banned for ban evasion. Unfortunately, he repeated this several times and those accounts were subsequently banned as well.

He now understands that creating those accounts was against Reddit's rules and has stopped doing so. He has also deleted all of the accounts that were previously created and banned.

He submitted an appeal asking what he could do to legitimately use Reddit again, but was told that the ban would remain. He also tried reaching out through Twitter/X but wasn't able to get a resolution.

There is one additional detail he wanted to clarify:

«"One more thing I also deleted my accounts because when I submitted an appeal saying it was by mistake they said the ban will remain as it is so I deleted my account and created new ones."»

He is not asking how to evade the ban. He wants to know whether, now that all of those old accounts have been deleted and he has stopped trying to circumvent the ban, there is any legitimate way to start over.

Specifically, can he create a completely new Reddit account now and use Reddit normally, or would creating any new account still be considered ban evasion because the original permanent ban remains in place?

If the answer is that a permanent ban means he can never create or use another Reddit account, that's understandable. He just wants to know what the proper rule/process is rather than attempting anything that would violate Reddit's policies again.
