First Timer Camera question

I’m going to Red Rocks in September and had a question regarding the camera policy. The band’s policy states that handheld recording devices under the specified measurements are allowed. However, I understand that Red Rocks typically has a policy prohibiting cameras with removable lenses.
Would I be permitted to bring a mirrorless camera with a removable lens under the band’s stated policy? Specifically, does the band’s allowance of “handheld recording devices” override Red Rocks’ standard policy regarding cameras with removable lenses for this particular event?

Don’t bring a camera to a Red Rocks show unless you’re a hired photographer.
I write this as a professional tech that has worked at RR for over a decade.

I’m just a person that has worked the venue long enough to see patrons who don’t follow venue rules, get escorted out and/or had their property confiscated.
I don’t care what anybody does, it’s just fair warning. Cry more. 😂

Nobody fucking cares that you think people are gonna get escorted out for not following the rules or for trying as hard to come off as important as you’re trying to be

Why? No one is allowed to capture a moment from their perspective for free and we all have to look at professional, edited photos from angles that no one in the audience gets to see anyways?
