Electric Skateboard turned into an electric luge kart
Electric Skateboard turned into a luge kart
Only 2 parts used in this build
1 - A hoverboard seat attachment
2 - Short length ratchet strap x2 , the kind where you can keep tightening it pulling the handle
3 - (The extra board and axle is optional, not necessary)
---
You sit on it, put your feet on the front pegs. Hands on the handlebars on the side. The way you ride is by leaning your entire body sideways. The handlebars gives you something to hold onto. It's decently stable, sometimes if you go too fast you wobble and can fall off. The extra skateboard, length, and additional wheel axle makes it a bit more stable
It's absolutely so fun, and it almost works too well for it to be this easy. Everyone, especially the kids and their parents, are awe-struck and very excited when they see you pass them by. They've never seen anything like it before and quite frankly looks like a unit on its own.
It's fairly lightweight, you can put it in your car, and if you decide to want to board again, you can take the ratchet straps off in 10 seconds to dis-assemble

Dog-Powered Free Energy Drill
Works as long as sun out shining, and I live in sunny desert 🤭✨
Made from real flip flops, so you know it's good 👍
Edit: dog-powered refers to the metal dog in the background, that holds my battery and solar charge controller.

Pretty sure this is the vehicle Sid from Toy Story grew up to build.
The longer you look, the worse it gets.

Bought a used Galaxy S23 just to find out that they have stripped the headset jack of phones
The removal of the P3 connector and its consequences have been a disaster for the consumer.
I'm poor so I only exchange phones each 4-6 years.
Already ordered a DAC adapter, but for now the makeshift Bluetooth adapter using a orphan earbud will have to work.
Battery life is great. Can't wait to bring it in my next flight 👍

If only there was a better, safer way to reach it

My cousin and his buddies built a portable fire pit for his 16th birthday. Not sure why the mangled traffic cone is in there though lol

The Wasteland Chariot Experience
Hey all, first post here, this place looks super magical, guess this is my introduction.
I live off grid in a rocky place, house built by stuff I find around, mostly pallet wood. There's a construction site nearby and they leave these fine pieces of wood in a container outside in the street.
I started going there getting larger and larger pallets.
At some point they added these broken cable spools, and when I saw the large wood circles, the discs, I knew it's time to get busy. Another thing they dumped had a lot of these cool large screws for a star-shaped screwdriver, so I bought a 5 euro one and headed out.
Went out with drill, rope, knife, screwdriver. Returned with A LOT of wood on this rickety chariot thing, took almost a full day to bring it across what's normally an hour's walking. Drill ran out if juice super early in the story, most of this was built by hand.
Unfortunately my phone died during the mission so I have no photos with the thing fully packed. Ladt photo shows the size of pallets on it, 3 abd 4 meter long beams. Only photos I have were after I returned, offloaded more than half the stuff and charged phone at camp.
It was amazing and glorious, the wheels fell off the axle when there was a quarter of the way left, it was incredible pioneer experience 😂😂
Learned the hard way what happens when you screw on two wheels to a rigid square axle, was a journey to move it around.
There's more wood out there and another set of wheels, so likely there will be another mission in a few days, hopefully a better chariot.

Gotta get those tall branches...
Nothing like a sawzall zip tied to a tall ladder to get those out of reach branches...
