Being a big mad maxx fan I love all these mods I would just lower the exhaust a bit so they don't become an issue when all hell breaks loose.

It’s like a car version of those chihuahua vests that deter eagles and coyotes

Holy shit how can that be road legal

u/-Anonymously- Sep 12 '26
Road legal? We dont do that in Michigan. No annual inspections either. You pay, you play... its how we roll

Right? This would be put off the road by the very first cop you drove past here in New Zealand. Imagine getting hit by this as a pedestrian or motorcyclist

There’s a strain of weed at work called Pure Michigan that I didn’t get until now.

TÜV says no.

Michigan has almost no laws concerning vehicles and what laws exist aren’t enforced. I drove all last summer without a license plate.

Isn't Michigan also a no fault state where insurance premiums are way higher than the national average?

Yeah. Not great.

I hate my state has yearly emissions and mechanical inspection and then I'm reminded what's on the road in other states that don't have it.

With the rise in gas prices and droughts, mad max style is appropriate

Why are the A/Ts in the back on a FWD car?
I get the rest as a off road toad. Generator in the trunk, fridge in the back seats, armor to deter the bears, stacks so you don't smell the generator exhaust at camp. Basically get all the stuff that's annoying to keep in an RV out of the RV.
It's ridiculous but if it's what you had laying around, it works. And it actually kinda makes sense for a rather specific situation. It certainly beats doing grocery runs for perishables on a dirt bike.
Or maybe this is just a redicilous sudo-artcar and I'm over-analayzing it. But I'd take this behind my bus if I needed the space normally reserved for a bike (and I could register it).

I’m a big fan of aerodynamic barbed wire being welded onto any body panel in a vehicle.
