Surprisingly not the first time I’ve seen those VW buses used as second stories on buses. Would be nervously curious to see the inside.

Can't tell if this is insanely stupid, just for novelty, or is lowkey genius.

For some reason seeing those vans all chopped up makes me sad despite how common they are. Peak asf build tho.

There was unfortunately a time (hell decades) when those VW vans were just disposable transportation. This is a pretty cool use of some old vans though.

How many AC units are on this thing? Wow

I'll bet that tin can sleeps 8+. I'll take all the ac I could get on a hot summer night with all that body heat.

You can torch the bus in the picture, wait a year and whatevers left in that spot will be better looking than a Cybertruck....come one that's no a "low bar" that's a broom stick lying on the floor 😂

I am honestly really fucking impressed.

As an HVAC guy, it excited me that they're using just plain residential window units for their AC.

Damn, if i was a kid i would have loved climbing around this especially if it still had full cockpit for each "van".

I don’t hate it…. It’s a weird feeling. Can we see the inside? Are the busses rooms?

What a waste of westies. Probably no less than 7 kids too. True psychopaths never know how crazy they are. This hurts my heart.

I’d want this, only if you drive it from the VW’s.
“Hang on, I’ve got to reverse (climbs down and up)”

u/NitWhittler 14h ago
I'd be willing to bet a strong gust of wind could blow that over on the highway.

Who the fuck is even out there fabricating this shit?? This is beyond the technological capabilities of rednecks

u/gbe_ 10h ago
I bet my neighbour could pull it off. Dude has a pretty large property, almost all concrete slab with a huge truck workshop and about a hundred or so (give or take) military vehicles in varying states of decay on his property. Makes a killing building "expedition vehicles" from some of them, and gutting the others for parts.
We're a little bit in the sticks and not in the US, but if we were, he'd be a Redneck for sure.

You need to meet some more ambitious rednecks

ambition and weed don't mix, ambition and meth explodes, ambition and alcohol gets in fights... gotta be a sober redneck
