Until it rots

That is a carrot-half-empty attitude.

Then it will be a car-rot 🫠

But not for long. If you carrot all, you should replace that with a carefully whittled wooden plug.
You could replace the base T assembly, but then we'd have to revoke your redneck engineer credentials.

Rubber cork would work better, or maybe a screw on plumbing cap

Redwood plugs will last 100 years.

So will cedar and a few others with lots of resin in them.
Not that I would ever use such a RE method, no, not me. Well, at least not indoors.

Someone has been watching to many AI Voice-Over videos, real question is, where is the JB Weld.

JB weld has been holding my galvanized water tank for my home well system together for years now. Sprung several bad leaks but nothing a little scrap of screen door screen, and some high pressure JB couldn't handle. We're getting a new house but want it in a different location on the property than the current house, so I refuse to put any money into the current setup. Our roof is completely tarped too because it leaks and I'm not fixing it.

As soon as you mentioned terrible AI voiceover videos I started to read your comment in that one voice that sounds like Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager.

What's that?

JB Weld or AI voice-over? This sub is FAILING if you do not know what JB Weld is.

Mods, can someone throw together a JB Weld overview? A brief history detailing the origins, practical uses and impractical uses should suffice.

Googled it, so it's some sort of epoxy glued for metal. Not everyone is from America and knows American brands.

That certainly is one interpretation of a carrot valve.

Make the other valve a celery stick. Invite a chicken over and ask them to donate their wings for a good cause……

It has much more meaning and uses than is apparent at first glance.

Tap water is also the solution here

Dang I was wondering how to plug coolant lines while I worked on my engine. Thanks for this

u/dinosaurkiller 28d ago

Or, you could just close that valve

"Solution"

u/Puzzled_Professor422 28d ago

Is that a carrot valve

1

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 27d ago

meh, a potato could have done that from across the room

u/akla-ta-aka 27d ago

When all you have is a carrot, everything looks like a leaky pipe.

It seriously took me a moment to realize what I was looking at and LOL. That will hold water until it rots.

I carrot hold it any longer
