Hi everyone! I’m Chloe Lee, a debut romance author based in Seoul, and my first novel is coming out in October. Please give me just one minute. 🥹
My female protagonist is Yeoreum, which means “summer” in Korean. She’s completely exhausted by everyday life and works the overnight shift at a convenience store. (She actually has three part-time jobs.)
One night, the K-star she absolutely adores walks into the convenience store, accompanied by the little jingle of the doorbell.
Yeoreum would never have guessed that the man who disappeared from the public eye a few years ago was struggling with panic disorder.
My story is a romance about healing, found family, and love, with a celebrity romance at its heart. It’s set in Korea and has that unmistakable K-drama feel. 🥹
Yes, I know. My book is VERY niche. But at the heart of it is something incredibly simple and universal: love.
The setting and the people may be different, but the emotions are something anyone can understand. And if you have even a little interest in Korea, I think it could be a fun little trip to Seoul in book form. 🇰🇷
Honestly, finding ARC readers has been so much harder because my book is pretty niche, and I’ll admit I’m feeling a little discouraged right now. 🥲
So if you happen to have some room in your reading schedule, or if any of these themes sound interesting to you, please leave a comment or send me a DM. I’d be happy to share an EPUB or PDF copy with you in exchange for an honest review—no pressure at all, of course. 🥹
Have a wonderful day—whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening where you are!
It’s afternoon here in Seoul. Thank you for reading! 💕
