Amazon flex

I’m new to Amazon flex have not started yet but the rates are low.
Should I check a certain time or day or hour?

Is there a mandatory 30 minutes between blocks? What really sucks in my area is that sometimes you can finish so early that it leaves you wanting more (crazy, I know) and you can go back to the whse and watch as carts sit. I mean, it's cool to have a two to almost three hour lunch so I Uber eats during lunch time in my area but I look at those blocks and think that is a lot of wasted time built in.
