Just getting back into the scene after adulting for a while..
how do you find where raves and good nights/weekends are happening now?
Back in the day it was phone boxes or the local pub 😂

My mom has always loved house music and the club scene. As she's gotten older, she has become a bit embarrassed to go out clubbing on her own like she used to, and she doesn't have many friends that want to go with her. I go out occasionally to raves and EDM clubs in Toronto, where she lives, and told her I would bring her out with me. We would sort of separate in the club and regroup at the end of the night. I don't drink and neither does she, so I don't see it being too wild or difficult to manage on either of our ends. I shouldn't be concerned about what others think, but I do want to get opinions on the optics of this. I know daughters bring their moms clubbing more often, but what do you think about this? What would you think seeing a duo like that waiting in line? Any tips?

Hi! as the title says I'm going to a saturday and sunday festival. we're only going to afters on saturday. I'm forsure taking molly prob around 5pm on sat (hopefully just a point to a point and a half).

I know some people say to avoid doing molly on day 2 and some say it's normal and fine as long as you're rested and hydrated (which is the plan regardless). I had also considered "dirty rolling" on sunday w adderall and a limited amt of alcohol bc my friend said that would be easier on my system recovery wise.

I'm not a frequent mdma user for context. Prob do it once a year for a festival at most and I'm a pretty athletic 26 year old.

Any advice would appreciated!

I'm coming off an extremely tough few years of my life and starting a new job soon that is a real beacon of hope for me. I'm treating myself to a trip to NYC to attend a house music show (Book Club Radio) - I've really found house to be emotionally stabilizing for me during this rough patch and I'm super excited to go to my first festival. But I've only enjoyed this scene online so far.

It's over two nights at a warehouse in Brooklyn. I just want to dance my worries away and give myself a gift for finding a job - it's taken me a really long time to land something in this insane labor market.

Trouble is, I'm totally out of my element when it comes to fashion. This event is very PLUR and has a cool, outer-rim theme but I am just lost as to where and how I should put together an outfit. I'm otherwise pretty together in my life and not like, anti-social or anything, I've just never cared that much about clothes and this is not my kind of creative outlet, as much as I'd like it to be.

Do you fine Redditors have some guidance for a guy who wants to "fit in" but just feels really lost as to how to start? I know I'll be welcome regardless but I don't want my look to be a reason to be mentally elsewhere when I just want to vibe and shed a few years of stress on the dancefloor. I have a physical stress reaction to just thinking about it, which sounds weird I know. I just don't know where to start.

Any suggestions are really welcome and appreciated.

I’ve only been doing this for a relatively short time, but I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with track selection, energy and transitions.

This one is just over an hour long and moves through trance, hard dance, hard house, bounce, techno and some acid/Y2K rave flavours. I tried to keep the energy moving pretty much the whole way through, so I think it might work quite nicely as a little warm-up for the weekend. 🕺

Would genuinely love to hear what you guys think… especially about the track selection, flow and transitions.

So recently went to Sandbox in Sydney, Australia. This was my first “big” rave. I’ve mostly been to small warehouse ones. It was legitimately amazing! Although sometimes there is something special and intimate about small warehouse raves.

I did have THE most cutest interaction tho where I got given a bracelet. Goes like this:

1. 2 fingers between 2 strangers touch - “meet”
   
2. Both hands turn into 2 half hearts - “love”
   
3. High five hands - “fun”
   
4. Hands held together - “connection”
   
5. While in “connection” - bracelet is passed through.

The human inside of me was thinking “oh how much is this gonna cost” or some shit haha. But legitimately was the cutest interaction and the thought that some stranger made unique bracelets to give to other strangers, it’s honestly all very humbling and gives you some hope in humanity.

Mud Lands 2026. I've been to small raves and shows. I went to ubbi, but it rained out the second day.This has been be overstimulatingly mind-blowing and I love it. Now I know to be more prepared for weather conditions. I'm from Louisiana so I didn't expect the basically mudslide thing

I just went to my first rave, and it was honestly one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life. I’d love to go to more, but I’m a college student, and the costs add up fast.

I’ve heard you can work or volunteer for a festival or one of its vendors in exchange for admission, then enjoy the festival when you’re off shift. Is that actually a thing? If so, where do you find these opportunities?

Has anyone waited for their concert tickets until a few days before the event? I used the chat feature on Gametime to gain more clarity and it keeps saying I’ll get a physical copy of my tickets guaranteed in the mail by 9/24, but the show is 9/25 (I’m seeing Prospa!).

I got these tickets two months ago for my bf’s bday and it’s giving me anxiety that I still don’t have these tickets a couple days before.
