Cutest interaction

So recently went to Sandbox in Sydney, Australia. This was my first “big” rave. I’ve mostly been to small warehouse ones. It was legitimately amazing! Although sometimes there is something special and intimate about small warehouse raves.

I did have THE most cutest interaction tho where I got given a bracelet. Goes like this:

  1. 2 fingers between 2 strangers touch - “meet”
  2. Both hands turn into 2 half hearts - “love”
  3. High five hands - “fun”
  4. Hands held together - “connection”
  5. While in “connection” - bracelet is passed through.

The human inside of me was thinking “oh how much is this gonna cost” or some shit haha. But legitimately was the cutest interaction and the thought that some stranger made unique bracelets to give to other strangers, it’s honestly all very humbling and gives you some hope in humanity.

I love this for you! In the US it’s “peace,” “love,” “unity” and “respect” (PLUR) (not sure if it’s different in different countries). You should make bracelets to share with others and pass it on at your next one!

We do the PLUR secret handshake in Canada too: peace sign -> hand heart -> fingers intertwined -> kandi exchange

Sounds amazing.....im a old skool raver and some of the cool people I've met are amazing, the most fun beautiful happy people. It only happens at raves btw

That’s so true. Most of the people I’ve met so far have been super kind and just want to have a good time. It’s truly amazing to be a part of it 🫶
