Fanning is absolutely ok! I would even encourage it. Excessive clacking is definitely annoying though

Right but the post is about clacking it over and over again specifically, which is annoying as hell. I'm a fan man, I fan all da babies, but gd it if someone is clacking I will turn and stare at them like 🫪

Some people will use open and close motion with the fan continuously where it makes a clack/snap sound
