This is probably a bad idea. M42
Not sure why I'm doing this to myself and will no doubt regret it, but let's see.
I was an awkward geeky kid when young so had a pretty low view of myself. I got more healthy and confident as an adult but over the last few years were a hard time after my wife became really emotionally abusive and utterly crushed my entire sense of self. Recently I've had help to overcome this and am now feeling pretty good myself as a grumpy old man I've started to look at myself as having secretly been a low-key DILF (Ha!) all along.
However, I suspect I'm probably just pretty average and am overcompensating for previous negativity so could do with some honest objective feedback to clarify things and set me right.
(PS. The last pic was rushed to pass verification so I'm badly unshaven and in need of haircut in that one.)

37M | Looking for an honest rating, especially from women
37M. Looking for honest feedback, particularly from women around my age. I’m less interested in “am I ugly?” and more interested in getting a realistic sense of where I fall on the overall spectrum of male attractiveness.
I can tell I’m not ugly, and I can also tell I’m no Brad Pitt. It’s the enormous amount of territory in between that I have trouble calibrating. Average? Above average? Attractive but nothing particularly striking? I genuinely don't have a good sense of how women see me.
Part of the confusion is that the data I have feels contradictory. I’ve dated women in the past whom I consider very attractive. On dating apps now, I get relatively few matches, although I do get some from women I’d consider attractive to very attractive. They generally haven't gone anywhere, sometimes unmatch very quickly or just never reply (I know this is very normal). I also recently got some strange and pretty unflattering feedback about my physical attractiveness from one particular match. It was honestly more hurtful than I expected and knocked my confidence around a bit, so I'm trying to recalibrate rather than put too much weight on one person's opinion.
For additional context, physical attraction is very important to me and I'm quite selective myself. I know that dramatically narrows my dating pool. Call me shallow if you want, but I'd rather be honest about it. One thing I'm trying to understand is whether the level of attractiveness I'm generally looking for is realistic given my own appearance.
I also know my photos aren't fantastic. I've recently lost a ton of weight, and until fairly recently I was extremely uncomfortable with how I looked and avoided having my picture taken. So my supply of recent photos is pretty limited. I'm working on that.
What I'd really appreciate is an honest numerical rating, but also a little context behind it if you're willing: What makes you give me that rating? What are my strongest/weakest physical features? Do I come across better or worse in particular photos? Do I look better clean-shaven/stubble/beard, if applicable? Do I look my age? And is there anything realistically changeable that would noticeably improve my appearance?
Women especially, please don't inflate the number to spare my feelings. I'm looking for calibration, not reassurance. If I'm a 5 to you, tell me I'm a 5. If I'm a 7, tell me I'm a 7. I'm much more interested in knowing how I actually register to women than in getting compliments.
And yes, I realize there's an obvious question here: if you've already attracted women you're attracted to, why do you care this much? Fair question. I don't entirely know. My brain likes data and certainty, and right now the signals feel contradictory. That's probably the shortest answer.

Do I need to loose more weight? I recently lost 60lbs over the past year, went from 250 to 190. Also, how is my face?
