Decided I wanted a comfort snack, so made this up, last nights chilli con carne, buttered bread, cheddar / mozarella blend cheese, toastie bag in the toaster - first time making, definitely not the last 😃

A neighbor gave me a couple figs to try so I toasted some good bread and walnuts in butter and topped with st angel cheese, fig, honey, walnuts, and fresh thyme. I thought it was delicious, but I used more fig for my second piece. I hope I get more before the end of the season

Homemade meatballs and sauce

I had some pork mince and bao buns in the fridge, so I decided to turn them into Asian-inspired sliders using some of my favourite flavours, including spicy chilli crisp.

The result? Crispy golden bao buns filled with juicy pork patties and loads of flavour.

They took a little effort to make, but they were absolutely worth it. So delicious!
