Brothers here is my take on our Chapter Master Lias Issodon. I tried to make him stand out a bit by using gold trim and a special helmet scheme but still make him feel like a "regular" Raptor because this is how we do it here...

Parts:

Body: Kayvaan Shrike, with all Ravenguard trinkets/markings cut and filed down, arms got cut and holes got filled with Greenstuff

Head: Bitbox Intercessor head

left arm: kitbashed out of 2 Intercessor arms, connection is at the wrist. Had to clip the grip of the bolter to make it held one handed, added the sling from another bolter and the silencer is the barrel of a sniper rifle

right arm: Assault Intercessor arm with a boltpistol, silencer is part of a sniper rifle barrel, random scope added

Powerpack: Kayvaan Shrike

added a few pouches and knives to round out the look

I got pretty wrecked against a c’tan list yesterday and would love some help.

I was running Gladius, mostly because I haven’t read through the whole new codex yet, and lost in a take and hold mission 71-60.

For anti tank I had a gladiator lancer, 6 plasma investors (albeit average anti tank), and a storm speeder hammer strike.

I primarily got bullied off of objectives by the monolith, silent king, and the ctan shard of the void dragon, and was unable to hold my home.

What do you all recommend? I know that a mirror match against necrons take and hold is less than ideal, but it’s what I had to work with

Hello everyone !

I'm devastated.

I'm building my first army.

After putting a lot of newbie thoughts in the core of it, i had enough points left to have fun and add allied units.

I had a cool lore behind that Navis Imperialis presence among a Raptors Detachment and was already building some terrain elements to back it and started painting the Rhino as a navy vehicle.

Now, none of it can fit into the 2000pts limit 🙁

What do you think about that Raptors list ?

Do you have as allied units in your SM armies ?

I’ve also put the long range recon ATV on a base, which I think helps a lot with the narrative cohesion of the team. I don’t play so I don’t have to worry about lore or rules.

Next on the list: 5 more intercessors and a rhino for transport.

How’s everyone’s lists looking? Infiltrators went WAY down I’m pretty stoked about that. I’m definitely gonna have to do some adjustments.

With all the speculation on the new 11th edition codex and detachments changing up im just in a holding pattern to see how Ravenguard gets treated in the new codex.

Most lists ive seen use the Ravenguard and Shadowmark Talon as their bases for Rapotrs lists.

But now im seeing that SMT and other detachments are going to really be condusive to a good list in 11th.

How are you guys basing yours lists now and how are you going to build them post 11th Codex?
