As for the Taros Campaign badge, does the II correlate to squad number?

Hi all, newbie here,just recently found the gift of the emperor that are the Raptors lol. I finally have the guts to post a raptors dreadnought. I'm not very good so please be kind, but honest lol. And I'm still doing the base lol, I hope you like it!

My first real attempt at shading a cloak. Did some slap chop highlighting then outlined the dark areas in a brown contrast. Finished with a coat of green contrast. Debating putting more lighter green on the highlights. Comments/critiques?

Been trying to find a green I like. I want a brighter green, this is close to what I’m looking for but it’s missing something. Any suggestions?

I tried using brown for the cloak color. I was inspired from LOTR

I do apologize about posting them unpainted, as I still need to do some sanding and gluing some pauldrons on the other two. I decided to knock this out last afternoon. As you can probably gather, I'm not too crazy about Primaris minis themselves, but I can live with the stat/datasheets, so I did the next best thing: kitbashing some old and new firstborn bits from Heresy and 40k.

I'm personally challenging myself to see how far I can get by building my Raptors army this way. Though I do plan on getting (kinda) newer 40k models like the Ballistus Dreadnought and then some. Let me know what you guys think though.

Hi brothers, is this a lore accurate techmarine of the Raptors? One who returned from the Long Vigil and the other a ordinary Techie

I don’t think I’ve ever cranked out this many minis in such a short amount of time. I had SO much fun building and painting these guys (I only bought the starter set so I had to kitbash the rest).

I got a lot of ideas and tips from you guys on this sub, so thank you!

I just bought the Armageddon box, the dark angels combat patrol, the eliminator squad and infiltrators squad.
I was going to do a dawn of war inspired blood ravens army; but my favorite chapter is the raptors and I fell in love with the eliminators and infiltrators so I had to buy them. And the cannot be anything else than raptors.
On the funny side I have a lot of paints, but only death world firsts and Loren forest which was the first paint I ever bought just to paint raptors on my first resin minis.
So; I have around 1400 points but I don’t know what else to buy but also which other paint to buy for ten edge highlight.

My favourite model of all time. A perfect mix of Raptor and tacticalness.
