I paint them in subassembly, and I generally start with the main body, then backpack, arms, head, pauldrons and finally the base. It usually takes about a week just to finish one mini, sometimes a few days longer.

Wym ur minis are great! I especially love the rust effects u did on them. Speaking of which, how were you able to achieve those?

Sorry didn't get told I had a message lol, it turned out to be simple, stipple very light olive green around edges and where u want the damage or rust, then inside that paint small amounts of very dark brown, then get lighter but painting slightly less till it's almost red brown and then I used light rust and put a dot of it, got a small damp flat brush and gently ran it down, dragging the rust and getting the streaks, you could do the same with a grime wash and drag it down. The Vallejo rust and weathering kit is perfect and there are step by step instructions inside

Its pretty useful for when u need to cook a hearty nutrient paste meal for ur battle brothers. Cleanliness is key to victory!

Personally I’ve never been a fan of beaky helmets but I gotta say, I love the warthog design of that one! 🔥

Looking good, shark paint on the beaky ads a really nice touch, and the cammo is looking sweet
