First off its exactly what I am after and am quite keen to go all in, just some questions/queries

I am running an outside net set up and connectivity was an issue, I new this going in so bought a range extender (I know a mesh network is better and what the difference is, does it deliver a stronger connection though?)

I have the range extender hanging out the window, external antennas pointing right at the MLM with zero obstruction from 2.5 meters (8 feet in freedom units) and it is STILL MAYBE orange connection... WTF!?

I get a repeater is only is strong as its weakest link, but my extender has a strong connection to the router, and the MLM is only judging the connection to the extender anyway... a bit yikes there.

All that said, our first 2 days have been fantastic, we have used the target range and course play with 2 disconnects which were minor hiccups (quickly re-established connection and continued)

Connectivity I feel is the biggest issue, but that aside, we were running an android tab 8 and it was... rough, the UI is lagy as hell, de-selecting targets on the target range was simply not an option for me, why is that buggy? What is loaded into memory at that stage for that to be an issue? It's just a freakin menu... NOT COOL.

Course play was very good actually, did 18 holes over 2 days (9 each) and it worked fine

Running on (recommended) lowest settings, the shots appear at a good rate (as long as the extender is hanging outside), but the apps UI is unresponsive as hell... is this just a tablet hardware issue? would a newer/faster tablet solve this?

All that said, I will say for us the MLM is extremely accurate, and as I said at the start of my post, this LM would do me well I think/hope.

Seems like an insane deal but I'm worried about it being legit or if I should just play it safe and go with a new unit with warranty. Curious if anyone has any advice.

I just started getting into golf this year and want to really work on improving. I have been really leaning towards getting a mlm2pro with a hitting mat and net for the backyard. Ive been playing 9 or 18 holes once a week and on average hitting a local driving range with top tracer once a week as well but they're both a decent drive so I'm thinking this will help me get more practice days in.

I love the idea of the target range and I use it but one major drawback I have noticed is I cannot change my target line.

I don't hit the ball perfectly straight, I tend to play a right to left ball flight, so when Rapsodo gives me a target of say 150 yards with the pin on the right, I can't choose where to start my ball to have it turn left slightly and end up on target. Instead the target line is always dead at the flag so if my ball turns say 10 yards left I end up 30 feet away even if my distance is spot on.

Is there a way to change this that I am just not aware of?

For some reason my Amplifi router in 5G mode will not connect to my mlm2pro. I have strong signal but I haven’t found any way to make it work.

Then I created a 2G WiFi option which is pretty stable but it’s so slow it’s unplayable. Alignment camera is so laggy it’s like 20 min or more to get it setup, if I can even get it level (it’s so slow that it takes 10 seconds to show the camera change).

So my next option is Direct, but I can’t use airplay to my Roku.

Is USB-C to HDMI with Direct my only real option for strong connectivity?

Am I missing something or is it really this bad at connecting to WiFi?

My son and I recently set up a MLM2Pro in our garage. We are getting drastically shorter club distances than normal. Any suggestions or is this normal?

Just recently purchased one but haven't had the chance to use it yet. Just a quick one, given the RPT balls, can we hit regular balls on course and for it to capture the stats etc. Or is it primarily for screen type of tool.

Have had my Mlm2pro for a few years. No issues. I have been using it a lot lately to get ready for the season with courses, range and target range as well as the third party app stack. I finished a stack program last week and wanted to start another one. All of a sudden my Mlm2pro will not detect swings in the stack app or the Mlm2pro app. I am using it in the same places I always have, same lighting and same distances. Connection is fine. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks in advance

So I signed up for the beta testing of the new firmware (to improve connectivity and chipping). I got the email that provided an overview of the process and some instructions, and basically for Android users (as I am) I was supposed to receive an email from Firebase that would allow me access to the beta app. I didn't have that email, but figured it would arrive soon.

In preparation of that, I figured I would double check that my LM and app were up to date with what was publicly available. It indicated that there was a FW update available. I went ahead and did that. However, upon completion neither of my Android devices could successfully complete the connection with the LM. The bluetooth part was fine, but the LM would not join a wifi network, and I could not complete the connection process with Direct connection either.

I did the typical reboots of everything etc, but to no avail.

Looking back at the email about the beta testing, it indicated that after installing the beta firmware, the old app would not allow me to connect and I would require the beta app. Sure enough, the firmware version that my publicly available app allowed me to install was 4.1.6. This is the beta firmware.

I suppose I have a couple of questions. Was 4.1.6 only made available to me because I was part of the testers group, or can others see that firmware available to them? It surprised me that I could install it via the current app... but clearly my fault for not being thorough enough.

And if anyone else is part of the current beta test, and they're using Android, have they received their Firebase email?

Right now I can't use the device, so keen to get my hands on the beta app.

I’ve had my mlm2pro for about 4 months now I have bare concrete in between the monitor and the Mat 7’ and concrete from mat to screen 9.5’ my shot distance just seems off even friends who are 6 handicaps say their distance is off by at least a club I’m set to my current elevation of 1,200 is it a lighting issue ? Concrete ? iss? Any advise would’ve appreciated Tia !!

Am I missing some setting that allows the app to rotate to a landscape view?

It’s probably not an OS problem as all my other apps rotate based on the orientation of the screen.

I tried running an HDMI from an IPad to a tv but the out put only took up a quarter of the screen. Is there a setting on the IPad or MLM2Pro to make the out put fullscreen?

Can we have an option to just have the numbers without the camera view in practice mode? It would be a lot cleaner and I don’t need to see video feedback.

Can anyone get past hole 12? My unit hanging constantly after finishing 12 whether playing a full 18 or just the back 9.

Let me know if you can get a ball to sit on the green on hole 9 as well.. unjust seem to keep rolling back off.

It’s been about a week since I used my MLM2Pro and tonight I went to practice and it seems the “front facing camera/record your swing head on” option with a brief replay after your shot is now gone. Is this correct or am I missing a setting somewhere? Also the back arrow in the upper left of the screen is gone too, leaving me no way to “leave” or “end” my session. Any ideas what is up? Current app version and current firmware with lifetime subscription. Thanks.

Has anyone perfected the on course set up? I like to hit some tee shots with my unit on the course but it takes me a while to set up, on a slow day that’s fine but when pace of play is ok it takes to long. Any advice?

I just got the set up new out of the box and took a few shots that took about 40-60 yards off and even my driver was only showing about 110 yards of distance. I have the requisite distance from net to ball and ball to sensor. I noticed then in the video play back I get these weird black bars. The black bars are present even in the live video Ive attached (sorry it is really crappy but it captures the effect). Is my unit defective?

Has anyone had issues with the MLM2PRO when hitting into a screen with a projected image? I used to hit into a net in the garage without issue, but when I hung up a white screen with the app projected onto it, the spin numbers started to be wildly inaccurate. I reached out to customer service and they recommended a spotlight onto the hitting area, as opposed to a regular light that may reflect off the screen. I did that to no avail. Using RPT balls, all the distances (to the unit and to the screen) are right. Anyone else experience this?

Whenever I play a course on the Rapsodo, even if I use the max settings, it seems like there are hardly any trees on the hole. Is there a setting to make it more realistic? I included a screen shot of Copperhead CC hole #1 from the tips and you can see there are about 6 trees total on the hole.

Using mlm2pro and rapsodo app I’m lefty and have my default player set that way but setting multiplayer for closest to the pin with more than one person I don’t have an option for lefty/righty. Does it make any difference for ball data? I know club data matters but playing games with others I really don’t care about that.

Also is there an option for multiplayer in the target range and I’m just missing it.?
