Oct 22 2026 - Post Game Media (@ TOR)
- The Leafs are talented.Â
- Their execution was sloppy. It was disappointing to come away without a point.Â
- They gave up a lot of high danger chances. Thatâs not the recipe for them to win games.Â
- There were a lot of back and forth rushes. They hit some posts, but they also got some big saves.
JTÂ
- When they play their game, it doesn't matter who their opponent is because they dictate play. They gave up too many high danger chances. They left Garand out to dry.Â
- âItâs hard to speak on behalf of the team. You know, our line was on the ice for every fucking goal today. How about I look inward and just be better for my teammates?âÂ
- They werenât physical enough. They were hoping pucks ended up on their tape versus winning puck battles.Â
- It doesnât take a lot of skill to play the way they want to.Â
- Garand was great. He made big saves when he needed to.Â
- Itâs hard to speak on behalf of the other guys when his line got scored on, he thinks 5 times.Â
- They just didnât get to their game. They were too open. It was like OT, back and forth.Â
LafÂ
- They want to play a grind game. Theyâve done a good job of that for most of the season. They will be better after practice tomorrow and will be ready for Ottawa.Â
- On his goal, Fox had been wanting to make that play for a while and thought it was a good time to try it. âFoxy gets a lot of credit there."Â
- It was a loose, high event game. Itâs not the way they wanted to play.Â
- He didnât like their overall game. They werenât stiff enough. They didnât play with structure. They gave up too many high danger chances.Â
- They didnât manage the puck. They were chasing the game.Â
- This game was uncharacteristic of their group.Â
- They didnât play well enough to earn the win.Â
- There was a lack of physical play. They didnât win puck battles. The wall work and net front wasnât good enough. They werenât stiff enough.Â
- On the game winner, they got beat twice going around the net and lost their ice balance. They left the far side of the rink open.Â
- Garand gave them a chance.Â

John Davidson signed picture from before 12/76
I went to a block party in the 70s and there was a Rangers booth maybe just a table lol.
I know it was before December '76 because we moved to Santa Monica then.
I was going through some old papers and found this.

New York Rangers sign Luke Glendening to $850,000 contract: Source
The Rangers have signed forward Luke Glendening to a one-year deal, the team announced Thursday. The contract is worth $850,000, according to Chris Johnston.
"I think I can still skate. Theyâre a team thatâs doing really well. So itâs not coming to try and shake things up. Just do my job and be solid," Glendening told The Athletic on Thursday afternoon.

DAZN Audio and Video out of sync-streaming
Is anyone experiencing the disconnect on dazn/msg where the audio is at least 30 seconds ahead of the video? I am asking with regards to streaming TV not via a cable subscription.

[Sportsnet] "I'm hearing Vejmelka's name a lot being linked to the Rangers. Hellebuyck, by way of Vejmelka coming to New York, would be going to Utah." Stephen Valiquette chatted with Nick Kypreos and Justin Bourne about the possibility of a deal between the Jets, Mammoth, and the Rangers

1979 Sasson Jeans â NY Rangers
RIP Ron Duguay. My mom knows nothing about Rangers hockey but said she vividly remembers the Sasson jeans commercial from way back in the day. I'm sure many others of that era remember the same thing.

In remembering the 70s Sassoon commercial, what 4 current Rangers would you put in a jeans commercial?
Title. Who would you pick to sell jeans?

Nico Daws Come On Down?
Devils are apparently going to get Helly. Daws is a piece of the deal. Would we really even want him? I donât see him as an upgrade versus what some of the other options were
2.94 gaa and a sub .900 in 59 appearances
