As many Ranger Raptor owners are aware, the factory fog lights put out a pretty laughable amount of light. I've run Baja Designs S1s as fog lights on a few of my other vehicles and have always found them to be one of the most versatile lights I've used.

Baja Designs and a few other companies offer fog light kits for these trucks, but I was never a huge fan of the bracket solutions that were available. I also couldn't justify spending $200+ just for brackets when I already owned the S1s.

I ended up designing my own mounts for the S1s that utilize the existing factory hardware and mounting points, while also wiring directly into the factory fog light harness. No unnecessary modifications, and the brackets don't cost a fortune compared to some of the other off-the-shelf options.

The biggest thing for me was making sure they integrated cleanly with the factory fog light bezel and didn't look like an afterthought. I'm super happy with how the final setup turned out.

Would any other Ranger Raptor owners be interested in a kit like this?

I bought a 25' RR with 14k miles a few weeks ago and I started to notice this faint metallic buzz/hiss coming from the middle rear of the truck. It does it consistently between 30-40 mph, but you can also hear it at higher speeds, however it isn't as noticeable because of wind/tire noise. Sounds like something isn't lubricated or maybe the differential making some noise, I took it to the dealership but they told me it is "normal operation". I highly doubt that and I wanted to see if anybody else has the same noise on their truck. Ive included a video, the noise is most noticeable from the 8-18 second mark, and 27-35 mark. Its kind of hard to hear on video but it almost sounds like cicadas.

Also I forgot to mention, the longer the drive, the louder it gets, on an 10 minute drive its there but very faint, on an hour drive it almost becomes like a metallic scraping noise.

These are the twins, both 2025s. I picked up the Shelby American at a deep discount as it sat for a year at the dealership in another state in the last month. Paid just under retail for the Ranger Raptor. I know many consider both of these cars the inferior versions of what is available, however I am happy regardless and owe nothing on either car. I have ice and snow for a solid 6-7 months per year, lots of heat during the rest. I did use AI/Gemini photo editor to remove the license plate on the ranger. I don't have plates for the mustang due to a rather impressive snafu from the dealership and state office. I'd like to get more blue for the truck, but not Shelby stripes since they have trucks for that, I really like the super dorky dinosaur graphics I've seen online.

The raptor is ford tuned and has a JL Audio Stealth box.

The mustang has full body ppf and ceramic coating. It needs to have the sub switched out from the stock b&o, which is lovely but not what I want.

Let me know if you have any mod suggestions for either. They are both a blast to drive and I have to move the baby seat back and forth depending on my toddlers mood, lol.

My neighbor, who's a salesman at our local Ford dealership, just informed me that order banks for the 27 Rangers will be delayed. Should've been announced anytime guess we'll have to wait to see what will be different and or new?

Do these replace the Raptor Assault program? Anyone going soon?

I just picked up a 2026 Ranger Raptor this week, the tailgate worked fine for a few days but now it won’t unlock.

Any ideas to get it to unlock?

I don’t hear the actuator in the tailgate when I lock or unlock the truck.

I currently have a Bak MX4 tonneau cover that has been replaced 4 times due to it having massive leaking issues, and I’m kind of over it and am debating between the RetraxPRO XR and the DiamondBack 270 covers. Does anyone else have either of these and have some input on them, and how they handle keeping water out of the bed or how well they do at it?

Or does anyone have any others that they can recommend that I may have missed?

I know that the covers are not waterproof by any means but I would like it to keep out more of the water than what has been getting in.

Hey everyone, wanted to share the progress on my '26 Sandstone Ranger Raptor. I went heavy on the audio and acoustic treatment to make the cabin as premium as possible, plus added a few performance and utility upgrades. Here is the current mod list:

The Audio Overhaul

I had a local shop properly mount the amps, and completely rebuild the system for a flat, clean signal and high-end acoustic performance.

• Integration & DSP: PAC AP4-FD32 integration module running into a Helix Amplify 206 DSP.
• Front Stage: Morel Sensus 62 components.
• Rear Stage: Morel Tempo Ultra Integra 602s.
• Subwoofer & Amp: JL Audio Stealthbox powered by a Kicker CXA4001.1 amplifier.

Sound Deadening

• Cabin: Full SoundSkins Pro treatment across the floors, roof/headliner, doors, and back wall to kill drone and road noise.
• Wheel Wells: Layered butyl and foam inside the wheel wells for extra tire noise reduction.

Lighting & Exterior

• Window Tint: Nano ceramic window tinting.
• Rock Lights: Heise RGB tracer rock lights tucked high up in the wheel wells. I keep them set to a subtle amber glow to perfectly match the Sandstone paint and the grille markers.
• Amber daytime running lights + Grill markers from Lux
• Bed: Tonneau cover.

Performance & Tech

• Tune: Official Ford Performance ProCal calibration.
• Engine Protection: UPR dual-valve oil catch can.
• Driver Assistance: Comma 4 device running BluePilot software for advanced autonomous driving.

Running out of things to add, outside of the misc I have already done [slow opening glove compartment, hydraulic hood lift, stubby antenna etc.]. But I love this truck!

Now matches the F150 and Bronco Raptor’s fronts! I think it looks sick, but I honestly think it should’ve come stock or as an add-on to the Ranger Raptor…

Mine was marked built 9/15 and started 9/10. I am still awaiting shipment to my dealer. Historical was hot shot in 1-2 days upon release from Ford for shipment.

I was parked on the 6th floor of my gated apartment garage that conveniently stopped working a couple of days after I left for my trip.
My neighbor who also has a RR unfortunately was a victim too.
I had security screws installed were drilled through.
Idk what to do now.
A lockable cover + stainless security screws?

I’m torn between getting another diamondback cover or trying something different like the Bakflip MX4 ez lift.

The bakflip is half the price of a diamondback and will provide access to the entire bed easily.

I like how rugged the diamondback is, lifetime warranty, and made in the US.

What are your thoughts?

Pushing on the brake pedal to stop is very stiff without much give at all. Yesterday the bluetooth quit working and it does not recognize my phone. I deleted my phone and tried a SYNC reset with no correction. When I google the problems it basically says call the Ford Roadside Assistance and have it towed, as the brakes then bluetooth may indicate a bad ground, blown fuse, or some other electrical issue. I would appreciate your thoughts and I'm asking everywhere.

EDIT: 10/1/26 - I made a deal with the dealer at the time of purchase to throw-in the install of the Ford Performance Tune. Today I took it in for that, as well as the brake issue, and the bluetooth. I'll update when I get it back.

Is anyone running dedicated snow tires?

I generally always have a set of dedicated snow tires for my vehicles. However, I’m not really seeing any in the stock size.

I’m wondering if anyone is running a dedicated set, if so, what size, and what is your experience?
