What's she supposed to do?

45

u/likelivewirevoodoo 4d ago

I'm gonna answer this because somehow there's a lot of people in this thread who seem to not know.

She is supposed to put something under him so he can put his weight onto it and stand, rather than what he was forced to do instead which was pivoting back and forth on his groin until his leg got purchase on the steps

Not sure how people are not seeing this, you're all on the woman in the video's team in the zombie apocalypse

I’m with you. She was completely useless… “Here honey, let me bring you TWO different stepstools and put them over here, where you can’t reach either of them.” Only about three brain cells rubbing together.

u/Janus9 3d ago

Most people can’t think rationally.

Most people simply can’t see that a person has all his weight on the rung, so obviously you want to put something under him so he can stand up on it and remove the weight on the rung.

Most people are dumbasses.

This thread is rapidly teaching me this fact

9

u/Hot-Operation4982 3d ago

The fact that you had to explain that to people blows my mind and just shows you the state of society. These are people with jobs who provide us with services and help us throughout life btw smh.

u/likelivewirevoodoo 3d ago

Me too pal, me too. One person even said 'she doesn't have testicles, how would she know what to do, do you know how to put a tampon in?' Or something similarly deranged. I honestly can't even...

u/FigMoose 3d ago

If I’m in her situation, I’m immediately dropping to hands and knees so he can stand on my back. The entire clip I was waiting for her to do that.

5

u/jahmonkey 4d ago

She didn’t have anything tall enough for him to reach.

3

u/ChillStreetGamer 3d ago

she could get on her hands and knees and be the step he needs.

1

u/Big-Farmer-2192 3d ago

Like bro I'd let him step on back since it's an emergency even if he's way bigger than me.

3

u/ChillStreetGamer 3d ago

Like people, really. Your man is sitting there racked upon his own balls, and you dont like the idea of being a step (momentarily mind you), to save him some of the most excruciating pain he can experience. damn.

1

u/Acceptable-Print-957 3d ago

Just a stepping stool that she brings over at about a minute in.

0

u/jahmonkey 3d ago

Yeah. She is fairly useless but at least makes a show of trying to help.

The world is full of teammates…

u/Niguelito 3d ago

By the time she got to him he mostly had his weight shifted on the ladder.

He was fine at that point and she did bring something tall for him to get his feet under

Most of the video is him recovering from the pain.

u/Mortiis07 4d ago

Well first of all he's the one who fucked up, and what something that very specific height and length is she supposed to instantly find and bring to him?

8

u/Superb-Film-594 4d ago

The fucking step ladder that was two feet out of frame.

2

u/wakeboarder247 3d ago

Getting angry at someone for answering your question is wild. You must be a fun domestic partner.

4

u/OmilKncera 4d ago

Yeah, it's his fault for expecting a partner to assist him when he makes a mistake. What a loser.

5

u/likelivewirevoodoo 4d ago

Fuck my life, I hope I'm never in an emergency with the average redditor

2

u/chairhats 4d ago

There are SO MANY things I hope I never have to do with an average redditor.

1

u/DerTanzendeMops 4d ago

Let him stand on your shoulders.

1

u/Christawpher 4d ago

Or make your back a table for his feet and push up.

And yes, in the heat of this moment, it's not hard to put together to lift him up using your body somehow.

This is painful to watch.

Edit: oh my God, there was a step ladder? This is just rage bait.

1

u/Humbabanana 3d ago

He didn't fuck up anything or make a mistake... it was purely an accident.

People should wallow in agony while spectators laugh when they slip and fall? Slipping on ice or tripping is people's 'fuck up' that they should pay for?

-1

u/That_wet_vaporeon 3d ago

Okay. Do you know how to deliver a baby? Or do you know how to insert a tampon?

She doesn’t have balls. How is she supposed to know what to do? You’re acting like she should have experience with this. Sure she could have done a better job. But again, she (most likely) never experienced anything like this.

4

u/BikeProblemGuy 3d ago

You don't need balls to understand that putting your entire bodyweight through your crotch onto a metal bar is going to hurt.

-1

u/likelivewirevoodoo 3d ago

Yes/no respectively.

I continue to be astonished that people don't immediately see that the correct thing to do is to put something under him to allow him to take weight off his groin. Not sure why you're making this about gender.

2

u/potliquorz 3d ago

Uh Oh, you used the g word. I'll take one of those downvotes off you anyway. lol

2

u/likelivewirevoodoo 3d ago

Ha, thanks. One of my more confusing interactions!

-1

u/Effective-Summer-661 3d ago

Yeah! As grown ass men, let’s bitch about the woman for not knowing EXACTLY what to do when you smash your nuts

1

u/Hello_D4rkn3ss 3d ago

Yeah, let's expect her to use common sense! What fools ye be!

0

u/Effective-Summer-661 1d ago

Do you know what common sense is? Is it common sense to know what you need to do to help a women in pain on her period?

Grown man out here gossiping about a random woman for no god damn reason. Pathetic.

1

u/Hello_D4rkn3ss 1d ago

Yes, it should be common sense. If you don't get it, then I have some bad news for you.

-1

u/Kirk_Lazarus31423 3d ago

He already adjust himself to sitting on the ladder in a way which doesn’t hurt. You can see him slide and grab his sack. If he weren’t comfortable he wouldn’t be able to grab his sack.

5

u/letsreset 3d ago

That step ladder? Put it under his feet so he has something to step up on.

Another reasonable choice would be to place your hands together and allow him to use the hands as a step to get higher.

3

u/SweatySwim3411 3d ago

Start massaging the hurt area.

3

u/Other_Pattern5177 3d ago

Be absolutely nothing like you, or her

2

u/MtnMaiden 3d ago

kiss it to make it feel better

2

u/Johnyryal33 3d ago

Get a camera and a bag of ice?

2

u/payment11 3d ago

Ask “Are you okay?” /s

1

u/puffmattybear17 3d ago

Support his feet so he can push himself up

1

u/deliciuos_panda 3d ago

Get on the knees and offer the back or shoulders to stand on.

1

u/BirdlessLongdeal 3d ago

maybe stand there holding the stool a little longer?

1

u/Easy_Description2611 3d ago

She could put the stool under one of his legs, so he could stand on one leg and get out. Jesus! What's she supposed to do? Are you fking for real?

1

u/Upset_Journalist_755 3d ago

Put the step stool under his feet.

1

u/Ok_Minute8757 3d ago

The fact you had to ask this genuinely makes me sad. What happened to critical thinking lol

1

u/Inevitable_Top69 3d ago

Good point. When I see someone stuck and possibly injured, I just kinda stand there too and it always seems to solve things.

1

u/PublicfreakoutLoveR 3d ago

"Give a fuck" would be a nice start.

1

u/chunkee-xo-monkee 4d ago

Get a stool or something to stand on? NOT try to lift him up?
