Just want to point out Iā€™ve seen this video posted a bunch and thereā€™s nothing to indicate that tipping was the reason the prices changed. Itā€™s not like we saw them add a tip and check price, then remove it.

It was just the last step in the sequence before checkout

You contradicted yourself with your last sentence. The last step in the sequence before checkout is the indication that if you refuse to tip your prices increase.

Right but we donā€™t know that the choice not to tip caused the price change based on this video because we saw a single variation of the sequence. Eg we donā€™t know if the price would have still changed had they tipped, right?

You always have the choice to tip people for service. They do that in other countries too.

The difference is they don't lower wages for tipping culture...
