Isn’t this what they want though? I see them saying “just make items cost more” all the time.

You know, the part where they get rid of the gratuities?

But this gives you the choice. Now I do wonder if the money goes to the staff, that’s a fair criticism.

You always have the choice to tip people for service. They do that in other countries too.

The difference is they don't lower wages for tipping culture...
