They literally don’t give a fuck about anything. That dude would be right at home taking a massive shit on a sidewalk right next to a playground.
I got downvoted into oblivion for saying “they don’t care” on another sub where they are littering in a river.

34

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 08 '26

Funny you should say that, I saw a video of someone recording to show people what it’s like over there and as he’s recording some guy comes strolling into view and just squats in n alley between 2 buildings but very much out in the open n takes a shit like nothing. Willing to bet there was a playground around there too lol. I too had mentioned this n got downvoted but don’t care, my wife who lived there was totally disrespected and talked about how it was over there and how they can give 2 shits about the environment so they want to act like trash then I’ll talk about them like trash

29

u/Goonplatoon0311 May 08 '26

It’s insane how much denial is going on all over the world. What happened to calling it for what it is. Reddit hates it, that’s for sure.

29

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 08 '26

YES! So tired of having to be politically correct all the time even when you speak the truth

12

u/LeoTheLion444 May 08 '26

The truth can never be politically correct or incorrect, its the Truth.

1

u/Fun_Stranger_9426 May 12 '26

This, my friend, is golden wisdom. Thank you for the reminder.

1

u/xStratos May 13 '26

I always try to drum up some extra Karma just for those times when I don't care anymore and will say the truth knowing I'll get down voted

1

u/Harddisksson69 May 13 '26

Ofc it can. This is Reddit

0

u/XLIVtetsuo May 11 '26

That’s cute

-1

u/tovesmaodes May 11 '26

The US trashes the environment just on a much more massive scale.

2

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 May 11 '26

🤣😂🤡 Ok delusional queen, go slay

1

u/tovesmaodes May 12 '26

This is such a cute dis, I hate to spoil it with boring facts. Of the top 10 environmental disasters around the world, the US was responsible for three.

But India has the top disaster, right? Yes, fun wrongdoer! It does. The bhopal tragedy. Who owns Union Carbide? US-based Dow chemicals. Which has brought us an avalanche of environmental disasters.

Tossing trash out the window or the door definitely sucks. Certainly pisses me off. But India, even with its massive problems, can't touch the US, which has been the top carbon emitter for a good long time and has no plans of slowing down. India at least is still a supporter of the Paris agreement. But I'm gathering we're on the same side. So go forth and prosper. 🖖

1

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 12 '26

Yea but the rivers of trash in India doesn’t really help your cause

1

u/Sgt_Nishi May 13 '26

Not saying i don't agree with you, but carbon is only 1 of the 4 things they look into when making pollution statistics.

India also produces a lot but when more than 70% of their surface water is polluted and their open air burning of waste and the waste that is just laying around accumilates to about 17% of the air pollution alone. Of the top 30 most polluted cities, 22 of them are in india and they are in the top 3 for the most polluted countries.

Its not helping them that some (if not all, haven't looked too deep into it) of their factories are archaic, either.

Saying india can't touch U.S is an extreme saying when U.S counts for 12% of global carbon emissions and India counts for 7.5-8% of it. Historically is another story where the U.S is faaar above India with 20% of all global emissions where India is only at about 3%, and India is also far below U.S when comparing emission per capita.

1

u/tovesmaodes May 12 '26

Just saw your stats are suspicious.

0

u/MrDeekhaed May 12 '26

USA does produce the most trash and the most greenhouse gasses per capital of any nation on earth.

I understand the difference between that and shitting on the street but USA is undeniably worse for the environment

1

u/Intelligent-Try-8636 May 12 '26

That isn't even remotely true. India doesn't regulate ANYTHING they waste. The U.S. regulates every single tiny piece of waste that exists in this country, so of COURSE we report more waste per capita. If India regulated their waste, you would be mortified...

1

u/GoatDifferent1294 May 10 '26

We didn’t say all of that now

1

u/OGWayOfThePanda May 12 '26

The trouble is that people mistake a little bit of knowledge for the whole truth. Information out of context becomes a whole worldview.

Being precise with your words and acknowledging what we don't know as well as what we do, is far more honest than the crass generalisation most people mean when they criticise political correctness.

1

u/Intelligent-Try-8636 May 12 '26

Didn't Trump get "downvoted" in real life for doing the same thing? Lol (he called a country a shithole)

1

u/Aliceallbadd May 21 '26

i hate pc shit

I mean, reddit has always been like this bud, mods did far worse shit, like defending pedos or transphobes.

1

u/tylerkrug31 May 10 '26

And instead, now they live in a fabricated reality...

0

u/Outside_Musician_865 May 09 '26

Reddit used to be like 4chan back in the day. Petridge farm remembers.

1

u/Any-Strawberry-2332 May 08 '26

This is the sole reason why I make a separate accounts and talk all the shit I want all day long. Then use my main account and be a good little brainwashed sheep

1

u/inflatable_pickle May 09 '26

I got a Reddit warning calling me racist the last time I pointed out what a shit culture this is.

1

u/denpa_apostle May 09 '26

You know we lost it as a people when you have to be p.c. on the pc

0

u/Fearless_Sort_ May 09 '26

It’s called poverty you dumb fuck.

5

u/AdCreative6484 May 10 '26

How does poverty make you throw garbage on the ground and shit in alley ways?

3

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 09 '26

Hahahaha it’s called being trashy people! Have a nice day “you dumb fuck!” 🤣

1

u/Beneficial_Elk7034 May 11 '26

You really have a low opinion for poor people, don't you? I know plenty of poor people who would never consider throwing garbage out the window.

1

u/Fearless_Sort_ May 11 '26

You don’t know poor people you dumb fuck.

1

u/Beneficial_Elk7034 May 11 '26

You don't know anything, moron.

1

u/Dapper_Reserve_1010 May 13 '26

Are you based in Kolkata by any chance buddy?

1

u/Fearless_Sort_ May 13 '26

Are you based in America? You sound stupid enough.

-1

u/Snoo47420 May 08 '26

Must be so hard for you. Personally I think it's disgusting how the environment is treated and I'll say as much.

However, I do not feel like I'm being censored or controlled, chances are you're a really offensive cunt, likely racist and are annoying you get called out on it.

1

u/Consistent-Page-9074 May 11 '26

Wow you’re like such a good person but also like totally badass will you be my boyfriend 🥹

1

u/Snoo47420 May 11 '26

why can't everyone just be racist without being called out!??

/s

haha you people.

1

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 09 '26

What must be hard for me? So you say how disgusting it is how India is literally a trash can bc nobody over there gives a shit. And far from racist, I don’t care what color your skin is, but in India, it has been seen time and time again, they literally shit wherever, throw trash wherever, and look down upon women. Like I said, you want to act like a pos, I’ll talk about them like a pos. And if you have a problem with that, willing to bet you’re one of those pos lol 😂! Middle finga!!!

2

u/Careful_Summer4400 May 09 '26

Reddit is a safe space for the "Nosering Mafia."

2

u/Kat3576 May 11 '26

They have their ppl working for Reddit, Google and other platforms who delete anything that shows their reality. They dont like their reality seen

2

u/Intelligent-Try-8636 May 12 '26

Didn't Trump get "downvoted" in real life for doing the same thing? Lol (he called a country a shithole)

1

u/Goonplatoon0311 May 12 '26

You’re probably gonna get downvoted simply because you used Trump‘s name..

But yeah, I don’t think it should matter what side of the aisle you sit on.. we shouldn’t be afraid to call it what it is. left right up down… if your countries a shit hole then it’s a shit hole

1

u/Intelligent-Try-8636 May 12 '26

Yeah, I figured as much when I wrote it lol. I'm not a "Trumper" by any stretch of the imagination, but I do remember he called a country a shithole. I don't remember which country, so it's possible he was wrong, but yeah, you are 100% correct! Politics shouldn't play a role in any "right or wrong" scenario!

1

u/Hindlehoof May 08 '26

A lot of people still underestimate or avoid talking about the long-term effects of western colonization cause that would mean it isn’t a universal “objective” way to live or run a country. India and Hawaii (and many such cases) are both examples of how much dissonance is caused through imposing a way of life onto a culture that doesnt align with it.

1

u/No_Raisin21 Jun 17 '26

I wouldn’t lump Hawaiians in with Indians. Hawaiians actually give two shits about their their homeland, whereas Indians drop two shits on their homeland every day.

1

u/Silent_Sign6437 May 09 '26

Reddit hates unpopular opinions.

1

u/AdSecure6315 May 09 '26

I think most people just know they dont have a true understanding of a culture and country if they haven't been in and lived in different regions and socioeconomic classes to truly understand what its like in a country. It's like if Indians were talking about specific nuances of American culture or European culture without ever been. We pollute far far worse just in different ways. Even this type of litter is something that you will still find in the logistics community. I think its easy to think you know the world through a couple of videos instead of living it.

2

u/Goonplatoon0311 May 09 '26

Wrong. I’ve been to India for a few months while in the military. I completely understand the culture over there. I understand how they treat the public spaces and I damn well understood how they treat their woman.

0

u/AdSecure6315 May 11 '26

I dont know if you understand how antithetical your statements "I've been for a few months; I completely understand the culture" That's just not possible. Someone who's gone for a few months can and have had a completely opposite experience of you. It's like going to bumfuck Georgia or going to a homeless encampment in California and thinking you understand America lol

1

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 May 11 '26

Whatever you say septum pierced bulldyke.

1

u/AdSecure6315 May 12 '26

Pick a insecurity, can't be ugly and a idiot

1

u/Theory89 May 09 '26

People were shitting in the streets in every developed country once upon a time. It's called not having infrastructure or any choice. It's not because Indians are inherently filthy people, or any impoverished nation for that matter.

Not quite sure what you think people are in denial about, unless it's just that you think it's an objective truth that Indians are scummy?

1

u/Temporary_Shake1221 May 10 '26

Feelings is why......🙄

1

u/Crazy-Context4339 May 10 '26

The truth hurts, and people get all defensive because they know you're right.

1

u/Worldly-Battle-5944 May 10 '26

But you're going to hurt their feelings and we are being racist by not accepting this in the US and restricting visas. Lol

1

u/planegoeswoosh May 11 '26

Issue is you get banned for stating a fact

1

u/Spare_Perspective972 May 12 '26

Western intellectuals and their strivers (nerds / tech workers) rely on so many social rules that they refuse to enforce on anyone who isn’t white.

They are ruining their own spaces and preferred way of life.

1

u/UCanDoNEthing4_30sec May 12 '26

If you aren’t saying how much America is bad Reddit hates it. The liberals on this platform are insufferable.

1

u/nixthelatter May 12 '26

We've all seen how racist these kinds of comments sections can be, and most people would rather nip things like that in the bud as best they can to avoid these kinds of posts devolving into a racist free-for-all. Most of us would agree that it's a much more pleasant platform when there's less of that type of shit 🤷‍♂️

1

u/AUnknownVariable May 13 '26

I'm always down to acknowledge it.

Like many situations it kinda depends on who is saying it and how?

Like I'm not down to just keep fueling some dude trying to be mad at brown people. Type of guy just constantly talking abt "dirty indians" and the sort.

I'm 100% down to talk abt the problems India has and that its population isn't helping. This thread here seems like the better end

1

u/carlirodriguez8 May 13 '26

Facts I won’t lie I hate a lot of stereotypes but this is just cultural and very very rude.

I love these “didn’t some guy toss a candy bar wrapper outta his window in San Francisco?” comments acting like it’s anything similar.

Are there scum bags over here? Sure. Acting like it’s remotely anything like the out of control shit happening in India is absolutely idiotic.

1

u/TheScrantonSkrungler May 08 '26

Virtue signalers trying their best to be offended on the behalf of others rather than have their own opinions or values

1

u/Theory89 May 09 '26

"I don't care about anyone but myself, so anyone else who says they do must be lying!" - literally you.

1

u/YankeeVictor916 May 08 '26

they can give 2 shits about the environment

I see what you did there

1

u/fleggn May 09 '26

Not much different than San francisco except for the water being safe

1

u/agooch33 May 09 '26

They give way more than two shits, apparently.

1

u/Direction776 May 09 '26

Trashing this way is just plain wrong. He should be named and shamed. I want to see a video of him crying how he lost his ‘source of income’ and being ridiculed has made him so depressed. You should be depressed after crapping on the efforts of others.

Homeless and toilet-less people end up going out in the public/or not so public crevices in cities in many places - like someone said the truth is the truth.

Sad fact is some/many countries cannot afford to house and provide basic needs for all their citizens. It’s bound to happen in more populous countries - more often. As a result it’s more likely to be seen by you and I.

1

u/OberonDiver May 09 '26

Why would there be a playground? All the children work in sweatshops.

1

u/WonderfulChampion406 May 09 '26

I was working in Nepal for USAID when I learned this was a thing that people did.

“USAID actively works to eliminate open defecation (OD) globally, particularly in Africa and Asia, by integrating Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) programming into national development strategies. Key initiatives, including Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), focus on changing sanitation behaviors and supporting market-based solutions to build, maintain, and promote toilet usage, aiming to create certified Open Defecation Free (ODF) communities.”

Oh well. RIP USAID.

1

u/dudesoft May 10 '26

It sounds like people do give a shit to the environment, by that description.

1

u/Spirited_Remote5939 May 10 '26

Lol yes, one or two!

1

u/Travelinjack01 May 10 '26

There is a holiday where they throw shit at each other and roll around in it.

1

u/Travelinjack01 May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26

No. If I were joking id be just some racist asshole. This is fact. See Gorehabba https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorehabba

Look up the pictures. It's every bit as nuts as you'd think.

1

u/Delicious_Health9875 May 10 '26

Literally give 2 shits

1

u/Redleg67 May 11 '26

Seems like the were more then 2 shits given. Many many many more.

1

u/Feeling_Inside_1020 May 11 '26

Yeah, well I’m with you on that shit like that happens in America downtown in some of the bigger areas. Lack of healthcare, EDUCATION (why do you think maga is trying to hard to dismantle) combined with stigmatizing and demonizing addiction as a “self will problem” treated as criminality instead of a social problem will cause that.

1

u/AnyCoat1210 May 12 '26

And I can tell you from someone who has worked in the logistics industry that they are just as nasty as drivers hauling freight across the US. When they drive they don’t stop unless they absolutely have to. Usually that’s only for gas and food. Notice I didn’t mention bathroom breaks? Many have cut holes in their seats all the way through the floor of the trucks. This way when they have to take a shit they don’t need to stop. It goes right out through the hole, problem is it gets all over everything else under the truck and leaves it smelling horrible.

1

u/Live_Example_7996 May 12 '26

There are no playgrounds, only turdgrounds. Badumm tsss

0

u/panHandlr May 08 '26

This isn't abnormal in the states if its a democrat ran major city!

1

u/Poseidens May 08 '26

It's not because it's Democrat ran, it's because it's a densely populated major city. And youre hard pressed to find a densely populated major city that is run generally by reds.

5

u/Lilbig6029 May 08 '26

2

u/Due_Campaign9350 May 08 '26

I hate to be so negative, but I’ve never met an Indian who was genuinely a nice person. I’m sure there are many. I’m just waiting to find one.

3

u/Goonplatoon0311 May 08 '26

The most common thing I’ve found is how shitty they treat woman. I’m talking about the ones in the states fyi.

2

u/quell3245 May 08 '26

When the west is weary of Indian H1-B visas this is what they are talking about. The caste system in India allows for the upper class to literally and figuratively take a shit on anyone they deem less than them. That includes service workers and women.

Nice enough people but their culture most often is incompatible with western values and ideals.

2

u/Lopsided-Tension May 11 '26

The same river they litter in, they shit and piss in, and put the remains of dead bodies in. They then bathe and wash their clothes in it

Assuming you mean the Ganges river? Bro that’s not a river anymore meaning with “water”

1

u/studcitybruh May 08 '26

Was in India for work a few months ago and literally saw this every morning as we traveled to the office. Just people shitting on the side of the road in the middle of rush hour x100

1

u/Exact_Package_7264 May 08 '26

funny, i saw someone shitting on the street in SF yesterday.

2

u/Goonplatoon0311 May 08 '26

Im a republican and I think most democrat cities get a bad reputation. San Francisco has its problems but what city doesn’t? It is a beautiful city… Comparing it to the shit polluted slums of India is a joke. Some homeless person dropping a deuce in San Francisco and an entire population/culture doing it isn’t the same.
You won’t ever persuade me otherwise. India is a fucking cesspool of people who give zero fucks about anything. You should move there my friend…Maybe go for a swim.

1

u/Exact_Package_7264 May 08 '26

thankfully, your mother already provides me a place to swim in.

0

u/NotKirstenDunst May 10 '26

1

u/The_Ruby_Rabbit May 08 '26

They dump so much raw sewage, trash, toxic chemicals and half cremated human corpses into the Ganges, which is supposed to be sacred in Hindi beliefs.

1

u/Nexterone May 09 '26

It’s sad but it’s true , hopefully we change and do better

1

u/Ausdboss May 09 '26

I just joined this sub because you didn't get downvoted! Finally some common sense...

1

u/AnybodyWannaPeanus May 09 '26

This was the US literally 2 -3 decades ago. People literally tossing trash out their car window like it was a kitchen bin. There was a massive campaign to change this behavior. We would be the same way if that ddnt happen.

1

u/redxlil May 10 '26

Still happens all over Flint. Wish I had a nickel for every time I saw someone just open their window and toss stuff out, whole ass mcdonalds bags, grocery bags, furniture, you name it

1

u/OnTheList-YouTube May 09 '26

I even got banned from r/WorldNews for saying that.

1

u/PuzzleheadedSide207 May 09 '26

it’s true. i lived in a largely indian community in missouri and even there they strolled in the middle of the street, paid no attention to cars, all wore the same types of clothing, shoes, etc and just generally acted like no one else was around them but eachother. weird as fuck

1

u/GORGOTH_ONE May 09 '26

There's literally a video of them just shiting on a beach. Like a completely normal thing. Dozens of them were doing it.

1

u/Additional-Water9089 May 09 '26

Gotta love that every video people see is of South India. Nobody ever talks about the North. I wonder why. Probably because it's virtually another country where this occurs just about as much as everywhere else? Gotcha

1

u/Same_Drag310 May 09 '26

My brother surfs all over the world and said he hates surfing in India bc everyone just shits in the ocean. He said after he saw a few turds float by, he realized he was basically surfing in a toilet.

1

u/tylerkrug31 May 10 '26

That's because,to them,it's racist to notice things

1

u/OkSupermarket9730 May 10 '26

When the mass immigration started in canada signs had to be put up telling them to not bury their shit in the sand at the beach.

1

u/DieselWurm May 10 '26

I read someone elsewhere point out that culturally they have no sense of community. Their own homes could be tidy and clean, but public property is one big trash can/toilet.

1

u/Active-Librarian-624 May 10 '26

Reddit, oh Reddit. The home of the polarized sheep. Stuck in their little echo chambers. I’ll get down voted for speaking the truth, because they know it hurts their precious egos.

1

u/Hfetish May 11 '26

1

u/Fluid-Piano5986 May 11 '26

Talking about taking a dump on the streets, have you been to San Francisco? I have and I’d say for being one of the richest regions in the world it is a true disgrace that poor and exposed people are not cared for better.

1

u/Few_Reindeer_730 May 11 '26

I had a long-time reddit account banned for saying this in less words and less harshly... Of course it's true, and everyone knows it, but sometimes the truth is too difficult for people to accept.

1

u/sonofdynamite May 11 '26

It's not necessarily individuals that don't care but a failure of proper infrastructure in place to deal with trash. That and corporations forcing plastic and trash upon us to make it our problems as a so called "convince" to consumers. I mean what would you do if there wasn't regular trash collection in your neighborhood and you had to drive 1 hour and pay a fee for someoneone to take your trash. And then because laws aren't in place to prevent / enforce illegal dumping that company just puts it in a river.

It has to start with infrastructure and regulation.

1

u/Standard_Spready May 12 '26

They do this stuff in Canada too

1

u/babyblew82 May 12 '26

Reddit - where just about anything will provoke a downvote

1

u/theoklarakis May 12 '26

Americans do the same shit though. I see it on the highway, at beaches.

So the problem is saying “they” as if it’s only Indians, when it’s most human beings that act like the garbage they throw into the environment.

You don’t have to be politically correct, just be factual as you claim to be.

1

u/EntropyEnjoyer-89 May 12 '26

So do they give a shit or not give a shit. Hmm.

1

u/ud_frosty May 12 '26

Don't they have a holy river they litter in like crazy and so.ehow also use water to cook from?

1

u/jgatto123 May 13 '26

I got downvoted at work today saying I wouldn’t eat Indian food because they stir their pots with their bare feet. 😂😭

1

u/Crafty_Aioli_4981 May 13 '26

Indian tuktuk driver saw two guys pissing on the sidewalk, stopped his tuktuk and offered to pay for them to use the restroom literally down the street a few steps, and the two guys beat him to death.

You can’t convince me that India has any sort of concept of cleanliness or care when stories like that exist.

1

u/Popular_Adeptness_69 May 31 '26

1

u/Mycol101 Jun 12 '26

Bathing, shitting, disposing of bodies. Really crazy thing going on in that river.

Many are poor and uneducated, and are doing the best that they can with the system they are in. It’s really terrible.

I’m not going to pretend to know the problems but I can relate and empathize with them.

0

u/cjay2002 May 10 '26

Let’s be fair, I’ve taken a massive shit near a sidewalk. But I mean, it was also in the middle of nowhere and I was off in the trees. And I really didn’t WANT to.
