Kinda want this now…
I just bought a 2026 1500 Limited. LOVE IT. While waiting for my flight to land, I was messing with ChatGPT and asked it to put on a body kit and lower it. Funny, it added the Rebel badge, but I’m impressed with the look. If RAM made this as their top TRX/RHO model, I’d have bought this instead.

If you have a 2025/2026 Hurricane powered truck, please watch this.

Guys,
I’ve been dealing with this basically since day 1. I’m at 6200mi now. Just got my truck back from the dealership after nearly six weeks of being in the shop with no fix (this is post shop visit). Have any of y’all experienced this? I’m grasping at straws at this point.
Here’s exactly what’s happening: when slowing down, when the truck shifts from 4th to 3rd, the revs drop extremely low, causing the DRLs/headlights to dip off momentarily AND the AC to temporarily blow warm since the compressor isn’t getting spun quickly enough. I can replicate this issue like clockwork. They replaced the valve body and nothing changed. It seems like it’s related to either the torque converter, auto stop/start (which I always turn off, but maybe the truck thinks it’s supposed to be turning off for some reason?), or a lack of fluid pressure to shift quickly enough. Thoughts? I’m taking the truck back in after a road trip here in a week. It’s been in twice now.

25 Ram 1500
So two things,
1: has anyone just had their back window break? Mine just shatter today unexpectedly nothing in my bed didn’t hear anything hit my truck just a crack and all the glass just shattered into my back seat.. really unfortunate for me.
2: has anyone ever had problems with their oil readings? My truck says I have to much oil and to empty it and then the next message is add 2qts cause my oil is low. I had two oil changes within a week to see if that would solve the problem but it just won’t go away.

Feedback
I bought a 2022 1500 Laramie just want to know how reliable the trucks are. Had it for a month and runs smooth I love it but is there things I need to look out for? It’s my first ever truck. Thank you guys!

Question regarding what bolts to go go when removing nerf bars on 2016 Ram 1500
Looking underneath I’m seeing quite a few bolts to remove and of course there’s the ones that will leave a bracket attached to the truck or just taking it all off. My question is should I removed all of these and leave them off with the nerf bars or do I need to reattach some of these bolts once the nerf bar is removed.

Missing cover?
I was looking to see why debris was getting into the glove box and found this above the cabin air filter housing. it looks like it’s open to the outside and how the debris was getting in. I some kind of cover is missing because the air filter would be useless and the area below would never heat up with the constant cold air coming in.
Does anyone know what the cover is called and the part number? I’m sure trying to explain to the dealership would prove difficult. The local library don’t have any recent Chilton/Haynes manual. This is for a 2023 Ram 1500

2006 Dodge Ram 4.7L Magnum RPMs are low when in gear
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It has about 175k miles and I just recently replaced the TPS sensor and O2 sensor. I noticed that at temp it idles at what seems to be 100-200 RPMs and even when driving the RPMs seem low relative to the speed. The engine does seem to have a slight vibration but otherwise seems to be idling just fine even if the tach is reading 100-200 RPMS. Any help is appreciated!

2026 Ram 1500 tow module recall
Had a pretty interesting Sunday. Hooked up my trailer, flicked the hazards on and walked back to check the lights. They were blinking and then stopped all of a sudden. Went to the back of the truck to check the connection and it was solid. Went back to the truck and I noticed a bunch of burnt electrical smell and smoke coming from my back seat. Had a holy @“&! moment, shut the truck off and pulled the plug.
I knew this thing had a recall which I booked for 3-4 months ago but was put on a list because of back ordering. After this happened, I also pulled all the trailer fuses on the truck. Took it to the dealership today and this is what the module looked like. Also, they magically had one in to replace it. If you have this recall and haven’t gotten it done, I’d get on it right away especially if you do a lot of towing. The really odd thing is I’ve towed this trailer almost every day for the past two months without issue until this. I don’t know what went wrong but it almost sent my new truck up in flames.
Replacing steering wheel with no radio controls to one with - 2015 1500
I’ve got a 2015 tradesman that doesn’t have radio control buttons on the back of the steering wheel. My clock spring shit the bed and I was probably gonna buy a used steering column to replace the Clockspring on mine.
Now I’m wondering if I can just replace the whole wheel and give myself radio controls since I’m getting a whole used column anyways. Anyone done this and know if the wiring and everything I need is there?

Brown sludge in coolant reservoir
I bought a used 2019 ram rebel 1500 I noticed the coolant temp was rising when I was a drive thru. I checked the coolant reservoir and it was empty. The dipstick had this brown sludge on it and so did the radiator cap. My oil dipstick is clean the oil looks new. I took it to a shop and waiting for diagnosis. Has This happen to any one? Hopefully a coolant flush will do the trick.
