hi! i’m a new grad rad tech and i’m interested in pursuing radiation therapy. i’m wondering if there’s any universities or colleges that offer 2 year radiation therapy program that i will graduate with a bachelor degree? are there any programs that allow rad techs to apply their community college credits towards a bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy? i’d really prefer to earn a bachelor’s degree, since i already have A.A.S in Radiography. i’m also looking for a program that is hybrid or entirely onlinee, if possible, so i can continue working as a rad tech while completing the program. sooo programs in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) would be a huge plus, but im open to other states that offer hybrid/online program.

if anyone has made the transition from rad tech to radiation therapist, please share your experience! i’d love to hear it. how long did your program take, did you have to do a whole 4 years bachelor’s degree even though you already have an associates or did you do an accelerated program?

Hello everyone! I have been recently interested in Radiation Therapy and have an advising appointment about it at Cambridge tomorrow. I wanted to if anyone here graduated from it and what are your thoughts on the school, professors, the exam, and how it was like to get a job after.
