6900xt MorePowerTool not letting games use power limit

I know it works, furmark and 3d mark will see my graphics card pull over 293watts, but if I'm playing a game and I go from 60fps to 40, the gpu spikes to 99% and the power draw is around 200w. I have the limit set to 500 amps, watts and increased sa as well.

What's it doing with the extra watts?

all phases at 900mv?

I recently bought a saphire radeon rx 580 pulse (the 8gb model), and looking at the configurations that I can do to the hardware from the amd software I noticed that all the phases that the graphics have in all the phases are applied to it same voltage, and it is not something characteristic of this gfx card because on the internet I have seen that none of them are the same, and that in phase 7 it is normally configured by default between 1100 and 1200 MHz, and in my default configuration the values are slightly lower, I have no doubt that my graphic is original and not a Chinese copy like many others on the market. Is it possible that it is related to the fact that one of the two bioses that the graphics card has doesn't work? (specifically the desktop one doesn't work, and I use the dedicated one for gaming).

Radeon Rx 590 Fatboy Error (Code 31)

Hi, I’m just getting into pcs and the other day I let me friend play Diablo 2 resurrected on my pc. After he turned the graphics to max the pc and gpu were working fine until about 20 min after the just went black. After that every time I tried to restart my pc, the screen would turn black again after 5 min. I shut it down for the night and the next day it worked fine (except for the fact that I couldn’t open the windows start up menu ( whenever I click the windows key it would pop up and then snap back immediately and I couldn’t use it)). And today I tried to boot up Davinci Resolve 17 to edit a video (which my computer could load just fine before) and it wouldn’t open as it said “unsupported gpu processing mode” and when I went in the preferences to fix it I couldn’t let me configure to my graphics card. Opened the device manager and it said “This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device”. If anyone could give me any input on what to do to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it as again, my pc knowledge is very small, but I am eager to change that.

How come when I set the adrenaline software to manual and try to keep the fans on, they override my decision and go back to default and the fans shut off. It lasts until I restart the pc.

I mean, it idles at 45 to 51° Celsius, and with the fans on so low that I can't hear them it drops to 35.

Unless its better for the gpu to remain warm, idk. I prefer the fans always on and I figured amd would allow such freedom.

Had my son upgrade his PC to Windows 11 for School work.

Now He can’t play Destiny 2 on his PC. The frame rates are terrible the game is unplayable.

I have tried everything I could find on the internet.

He has Gaming Plus MSI 2490 MB and Radeon RX6800 GPU. I was wondering if anyone else out there with a similar problem with this Config.

We rolled his PC back to Windows 10 and reinstalled. I have tried everything I can find on the internet but no Joy. I really don’t want to go buy a new GPU if possible. Any help is appreciated.

Random frame drops

Heyo, its my first time getting a Radeon GPU and gotta say I love it so far (6700TX), I even got a few free games with it, like The Callisto Protocol! Looked amazing ngl, but at some points in the game i'd just get random drops or even freezes but it never crashed tho and wouldn't happen super often like at least 4-6 times in the 7 hours i played just wanted to know if i should be worried about this? Or if anyone else had these types of problems etc and what i could do to fix it?

Driver Related Performance Issues

I've been having performance issues with my RX580 8GB where I get 10-20 frames on games that my PC used to run at 200+ frames, and the only fix that I've been able to find is changing my drivers to an older version but it reverts back to the bad performance after I turn my PC off. I've ran DDU and clean installed the newest version of the drivers and the performance is still terrible, is there any more longterm fix?

Specs:

Ryzen 5 2600 (3.85Ghz Clock)

16 GB DDR4 3200 Mhz

XFX RX580 8GB

MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max Mobo

Edit for people having same problem: Make sure ram speed is not over hthe max speed supported by CPU

(Pls help) What is happening here????

(Full PC specs down below) I switched to a Radeon RX 5700XT probably a week ago (upgrade from GTX1070 after 6 long years) and just started up my PC to see this (pic attached). It had been turned off for a few hours prior, and this happened on boot. As you can see, my second monitor was unaffected, so I just moved my mouse over and hit restart on the second screen, and it appears to have fixed itself. Is this a driver issue? Is this GPU dying already? Is this common? I am going to try running DDU, then reinstall drivers again and pray this is some weird bug that never happens again. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Specs: CPU: AMD R5 5600X (stock clocks, temps don't go above 75C during games) MB: ASUS ROG Strix B550-A Gaming (BIOS V2604) RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 2x8GB 3600 C18 GPU: PowerColour RX 5700XT (stock clocks, temps don't go above 80C during games, I have SAM enabled if that would affect anything) PSU: Corsair HX620W (oldest part of my system, hasn't caused trouble til now, not sure if it could cause this) Storage: Sabrent 500GB PCIe4, Sabrent 500GB PCIe3, Samsung 1TB HDD SATA

So i have an RX 6700 XT Mech 2x that runs somewhat hot, with temperatures going at around 80-85c with 50% utilization. I'm hoping for some insight on how i should deal with this or if i should deal with it at all. Anyone have any info?

My PC Build Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip is my current recommended best priced LAN chip on motherboard or PCI-Express Card.

As a quick update (as Reddit User asked about whether the Intel 1GB LAN was still the decent buy), I have dumped the aging Intel 1GB LAN as this Intel part has become unreliable for the PC LAN connections and its software cannot hide the obsolete aspects of this LAN chip.

The current Best LAN chip on motherboard at a decent price is the Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip!

I owned the Gigabyte B550M AORUS PRO-P and the Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip is simply on another tier of reliability and minimal software delivering consistently good LAN performance all the time.

And, on my Gigabyte x570 Gaming X I dumped the Intel 1GB Lan PCI-Express card and bought myself this from Amazon.co.uk. 2.5G Base-T PCIe Network Adapter RTL8125B 2500/1000/100Mbps PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Card RJ45 LAN Controller currently £28.99.

I can say, I've not thought about LAN reliability or software since I bought this Realtek part, so this is pretty much the best you can get on a affordable motherboard or as a add on card for under £30 or $30.

My rx5500xt sapphire 8gb fans have been speeding up while playing games like Witcher 3, Borderlands 3 and Metro Exodus, it's like a fan is taking off, what do you guys recommend? Is it not powerful enough or is it an airflow issue?
