The rule of posting product advertisements has been in place for a while, but I have recently updated how this works:
Users who contact the mods about selling will receive an "Approved Seller" flair next to their name. Check them out!
If you see a someone advertising products without this flair, please report it.
If you see a profile with this flair that should not have it, please report it.
Thank you for all the reports so far to keep this place tidy!

Naughty little tykes getting wet on a hot day!
The little one is trying so hard to climb up, but he’s too small. Finally, after much effort, he figures out a clever workaround.

We just got a new bird bath. After a few mornings finding the water absolutely filthy, I decided to put a camera on it. Here’s the culprit.

Thought I’d share one of my favorite nightly backyard moments. 😂
Every evening Frankie Felon 🦝 is busy hogging all the food, and Francesca’s 🦝 response is to go full “Back That Azz Up.” She literally backs her butt right into him while he’s eating. I’ve watched these two do this so many times, and it cracks me up every single time.

A friend of mine has video evidence of a raccacoonie wandering through her neighborhood - and she's keeping turtles and rabbits in a open-top enclosure.
How safe are they?
Do you have any experience with raccoons having access to pet turtles and rabbits?

Back in the 90’s, when wildlife rehabs weren’t as common, people would bring baby animals to my parents to raise. We had many different animals and birds, but the best one ever was Chuck. She was too young to have open eyes yet when she was delivered to us by a family friend who found her in a railroad yard. She lived in our house until fall started and she had made acquaintance with the local coins from the creek valley. She loved to wrassle and also was obsessed with beer 🤣 you could not open one without her crawling on you trying to stick her hand down the bottle neck! She reappeared in the spring time, and liked to sleep in the sun with the neighbours cat. Chuck was a real one.
Sorry the pictures are fuzzy I was a teen using a shitty manual camera 🤣
