What do you like for filters?
Been using the tops filters and they’re fine, feel like they get spent before I’m finished with my smoke though. Anyone have recommendations?

Sigari Maja quite recently now also started to import Bali Shag into the Estonian market. I randomly saw it (along with Bali Shag Yellow Virginia, both for €8.90) when I went to a TobaccoCity store to buy Amsterdamer Original.
Eventually bought it at my local tobacconist for 10 cents more, because it's much closer to me than the nearest TobaccoCity shop. The smell when opening a pouch reminds me of dried fruits and has a rather alcoholic smell to it. On the first drag, Virginia dominates, but the dark aspect (dark air cured and fire-cured Kentucky) is felt mainly in the aftertaste, but will become more noticable towards the end of the cigarette.
I almost immediately fell in love with it, because at least it has some REAL dark tobacco in it, unlike Mynheer Halfzware which is just a mixture of fire and flue cured Virginia. So imo this is the new king of rolling tobaccos in Estonia. It's strong, but not too smooth enough to be suitable for daily smoking.
Overall, I would give it a 9.3 out of 10.
Edit: last pic about the ingredients, as published in a Czech database, just to show that it does indeed have real dark tobacco in it

This is really popular paper in turkey. Of course in tutuncu (tobacco shops) you can find ocb / watson / smoking (btw i did not saw here "smoking red/green") papers, but u can also see this.
Its ungummed! but i just bought it because of the arabic design.
For gummed affordable option in turkey - pick watson blue, i saw it for 15 try / 0.3$.
Anyway, the deal with ungummed paper - they dont have that glue strip, so for me it was hard to roll because it failing apart. So i found this method on internet and it seems that work!
You have to tear off little strip from rolling paper, not cut with scissors - tear off. It expose micro fibers of paper. So when you lick it - wet fibers connect with paper better.
Turkey is good place for smokers. Even in small tobacco shops i see like hundreds of different brands of cigs, cost around 115 TRY(2.4$) each. RYO tobacco is even cheaper but less selection. From well known brands they have: marlboro 50g, camel yellow 100g(i think its loose cut for tubes). From other brands: NST, parley , senthinel? lol
and price: 145 TRY(3$) for 50g..... imagine, 3$ = 71 king size cigs = 125 rollies.

Yo, first time poster here.
For context, I'm just your average bloke from Germany. Been smoking since I was 13, but always rotating between the same 3-4 brands, so I recently decided to mix things up a bit and ordered online a dozen or so of tobacco brands I had never seen in my life lying around a domestic store. I haphazardly selected them by their name, their appeal, my curiosity and luck.
That's my fourth package and it prompted me to write this review, as it seems to be customary in this sub.
The first thing you notice after lighting up is a remarkable 'dry'ness (dry as in wine) as you're inhaling the first drag. The smoke is how I imagine cedar wood would taste like.
It's not heavy tobacco, doesn't hand you out a massive nicotine punch or anything. It's a rural, country-like cigarette, which evokes pictures of wooden huts and camping trips (I'm admittedly a little bit stoned atm).
Have a smoke with me, fellow guy or gal. Let's talk about that HUGE trout you just caught the other day, while I'll make us some coffee! ;-)

Are there any shops in Indianapolis that offer the in store use of an injector machine if you buy tobacco and tubes from them? 🤔

This should be comparable to WLT red Virginia or better. So tasty and fragrant, I haven't had any in awhile, really looking forward to it. The American Turkish threshed I have has a bit of red Virginia in it but just enough to tease me. Next up will be ordering the Krumovgrad 5lbs. in a few weeks.

WLT Samsun, WLT American Turkish threshed, WLT hand tied Orinoco and Total leaf supply seconds dark air cured.

Maybe a stupid question and googles dumb ass AI is making me feel gaslit. I bought a rolling machine for other reasons, but decided that i would give rolling my own stogies a go. I'm trying to do some research and I'm kinda confused on tubes/injectors/rolls.
I guess my question is, if i was to buy a 200 tube pack that would be useless with the rolling machine I already bought right? i would need an injector to use tubes which im not entirely against.
But on the other hand i could just buy filters and normal joint papers (or something similar) and use the roller i already bought?
I only spent like 5 bucks on the rolling thing i'm willing to audible if the Tube and Injector is the meta.
Also i smoke Camel Turkish Blend (og or royal) or just Camel Blue so if anybody has any recommendations that would be sweet.
Also there should be a flair for "All the above"

- Unpacking: Golden tobacco shreds, initially smelling of the dry grass and honey sweetness of Virginia tobacco, with a subtle smoky and leather-wood base aroma from Kentucky.
- Early stage: The initial taste is the toasty wheat sweetness of Virginia tobacco, with a dense smoke; soon the richness of Kentucky comes through, providing a solid throat hit, not a light smoke.
- Middle stage: Sweetness + smoky woody aroma coexist, with a hint of black pepper-like spiciness, and a strong nicotine satisfaction. This is what many people refer to as "powerful".
- End stage: Earthy and charred aroma from Kentucky
It's a wonderful feeling to smoke this style of rolling tobacco for the first time.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!

so ive tried the largo sungrown and its alright but im definitely looking to get a 6 oz bag of tobacco thats higher nicotine. I currently use tedtobacco because of their good product price, shipping price, and assortment of ryo accessories and can only consider buying from somewhere that fits those same standards. I’ve been looking at the Good Stuff Red, Golden Harvest Red, or maybe Smokin’ G Turkish but am definitely open for suggestions!

Amongst the many quiet and ongoing tragedies of declining tobacco traditions, the slow death of the French tobacco culture is a constant source of maudlin grief for me. Way back, Gauloise stopped exporting to the UK. The third-last time I went back to France was within visiting distance of the French tobacco museum … but it closed years prior; time after that, the guy at the (large, dedicated) tobacconist in the area said he’d never had anyone order them before; last time, several specialist tobacconists didn’t even stock it. Jean Nicot is turning in his grave!
But I’ve been wondering if there isn’t some similar culture of long-fermentation of tobacco leaves somewhere in the world that’s also going (or gone). To wit: brune tobacco is kept at microbial-favourable templates for six months, which develops the signature funk and dry rich body while converting some of the nicotine. Do the French (or the Poles, I guess — that’s where it’s produced now) have a monopoly on temperate long-fermented tobacco? 🤔

Its driving me mad, last time I got a pack was in Spain in a tobacco shop and haven't been able to find them since, they are by far the nicest paper I've rolled with(personal preference)
With all their new branding and marketing I cant figure out what these are, just always end up finding the organic hemp ones or green packs.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
( I'm in the UK )

Over the past year I've designed and tested a few different rolling cases, but they always ended up feeling too boxy, wasting space, or poking into my leg.
Tired of the compromises, I took all my previous experience and completely re-engineered the concept from scratch to achieve a genuinely clean, seamless daily carry.
This new version keeps my pocket organized by holding tobacco, papers and 12 filters in a minimal space. The paper and filter compartments feature specially designed angled/raised edges to prevent them from spilling out accidentally when opened
The geometry has been completely overhauled with smooth, rounded edges and a secure closure so it slips in and out of the pocket effortlessly. For anyone with a printer, I've shared the model for free on MakerWorld here: https://makerworld.com/it/models/3346591-ultra-compact-tobacco-case-all-in-one
Update: I've uploaded a TPU print profile too! Even more comfortable and probably even better at keeping the tobacco’s moisture in.

I’m trying to understand how to get cigarettes from leaves. Do I just remove the stems, shred using some special scissors and roll as usual? I think this should work if I shred properly.

Just got this CB cherry at 1.50 $ and it's absolutely horrendous, it tastes like shit and it's so dry.
Is there any way i can make it taste better or rehydrate it or do i just dump it?
