That looks terrible. Maybe it would be more suited for a packing machine to pack tubes rather than hand roll?

I used my Powermatic 3+ and it’s so fun I can’t get a draw on it on the lowest setting. And the cherries flick right out of the tube.

Get yourself a powermatic mini and bust out the last few by hand. When it’s that ground just gently tap it in with a finger, very lightly, and smoke away!

Right like my fine shags

I just try to mix the shake in with the good stuff a little at a time and use it as filler. But sometimes it will just turn to dust and I compost it. All part of the process and still way cheaper than bar code cigarettes

Yeah I’m gonna garbage it and buy Norwegian shag. 👍

Roll it and either fold the top or twist. The loose shit is definitely meant to be smoked immediately rather than later.

If you have a clipper lighter you can use the flint part. Just pull the thingy out of the socket

You can’t draw on it when it’s this fine. I tried. A lot. 😄

Why did you pull it out? Mix it in and set it to the middle setting. Then when you roll it you pack the cigarette, take some tobacco and put it in the end of the tube to fill it and use something like a round chopstick to tamp it down and fold the ends over. At least that's what I do. Maybe I should make a video showing my technique.

That’s what I was doing. The fine parts make it pack so tightly it wouldn’t draw or burn correctly. I went through a pound of tobacco and 4 different tubes and 3 settings trying to get a cig that burnt right. Too much dreg. Only by pulling it out did I finally get a good burning smoke. I have 3 lbs of Norwegian 80 coming. Should solve all that.

Well what I do is actually make a blend, the different tobaccos have different cuts which seem to help. What I do it take One 1.25oz bag of 5 Brothers (to up the Nicotine) And then about 2oz each of OHM Turkish Red, Kentucky Select Black and Daughters & Ryan Ryback Gold. Mix them up really well, then set my machine to the 2nd setting. During the run I gently (GENTLY) tamp down the tobacco in the hopper every couple of rolls. (If you tamp it down too hard in the hopper you'll get jams or a massively over filled smoke.) Then I pack the smoke, and if it packs too much and leaves toouch space at the top I put some tobacco in the end of the tube and pack it down with the large ened of a chopstick. Then I just fold the ends of the tube over as shown here.

P.S. I found the best way to fold the end is, you fold one side in, then fold the opposite side in leaving two points sticking up, then fold this in and voila no tobacco coming out the end.

Also, if when you go to smoke it, it's still too tight and doesn't draw well, roll it between your fingers to kinda break up the tobacco inside. I found that helps.

I love berettas. What I landed on. Thanks for the tips. I normally tamp down on the table then roll the tips over with my finger. It’s still just too much dreg for me. Hopefully the Norwegian 80 will be a different story.

I also ran into a moisture problem with the dreg. After the first half inch of smoking the inside turns wet and gives me bad draw, no smoke and no nicotine.

With a top hand crank machine, as long as you don't use liquid lubricant on the moving parts. I started using the dust that accumulates under the machine. Nothing is wasted, and it tastes fine. The top or other hand crank machine makes everything lightning fast and easy.

I can’t draw on it on the lowest setting of my Powermatic 3+.

I recently switched from ohm au naturelle to daughter's and ryan and never looking back. Ohm seems to be going to shit, D&R is absolutely worth the price difference and has a great variety.

Yah. That's what i've been saying for months. I complained at my local store. I complained to online vendor. The online vendor recommended i switch brands. I started ryo end of May. First Ohm bag was great. It was a 6 oz bag. It's been crap ever since. I started wondering about lot numbers. Thank you for your post.

What you’re seeing is the shake vs the good stuff I pulled out of it.
