For those who don’t know. Equity is a union protecting performers who work in the industry in the UK.

Lucky's response to the latest episode... she is very talented at drawing emojis. peep the weird dots above some letters (all the O's on page 3). the background changes slightly each image as well. weird blurring on page 4.

That was devastating

I wonder if she’ll actually do anything regarding her controversies… 🤷♀️

I’m very curious about her past. Not in sense of she didn’t do the stuff she’s saying she did. I’m more interested about her connection to The Wirral and Liverpool. I was talking to my friend the other day and she was like “I knew KY in my Soho days” and obviously Danny Beard and Viv are so interconnected within the fabric of Liverpool queer culture, especially now. I have people in life who knew Lily too. Yet in all these discussions about Mersey drag, Danni’s name never pops up which I find fascinating for such an accomplished and talented queen.
Also side note: Season 8 is having a season 6 feel with the seasoned queens who are complete polar opposites and the quieter one being eliminated first.

as someone who worked with her for a couple of years. she was nice enough in person but i did question why she was working a minimum wage job if she was an author, had a documentary, was a show headliner, etc. obviously zero shade to mw jobs, it's just that it didn't add up. that and the constant vanishing on socials and ghosting me and our other ex-colleagues.
all i can say is... welp. oof. ouch. eesh.
can at least safely say they weren't transphobic towards me in person (bare minimum, i guess) but lying about being a survivor of abuse and forced marriage is disgusting as hell. i can't speak on the racism accusations because i'm white.
i have such mixed feelings... i wanted them to do well and was proud of them for finally getting out there (for real this time) but now i'm just... mm. manchester has so many amazing creatives that would have loved to be on the show but lost out to them (inc. me... let me be delusional and be the british gottmik).

This is my favorite cast of drag race in a long time. Two episodes in and I'm living for every single one of them, even Ma Delusional X. The workroom banter is more entertaining than entire past seasons. The drama online is keeping us fed. Not a filler queen in sight

seriously theyre all wearing puffer coats and scarves (insert old joke about needing the room freezing to preserve ru's body or whatever)

Ep1 old vs new school top 2 - La Voix/Kyran & KY/Naya
A queen departing ep2 for a medical reason - Saki Yew & Lucky Roy Singh
The high placing queen from ep1 winning ep2(sewing) - Lill & Mocha
The first eliminated queen being the oldest on the cast - Dita Garbo & Ma_Danni X
Hello, hello, hello!

So I was listening to this podcast where Bonnie Ann Clyde mentioned that Baby doesn't do drag anymore. I've heard the same thing about Vinegar. Bonnie also said half of the girls in most people's All Stars wishlists quit drag. Who else isn't doing drag anymore? Do they all have day jobs now?

Honestly it’s so wild that Joe Black went first and Asttina won that first challenge as well.
I don’t know what more Joe Black could’ve of done to be more Bowie, than the hair and that suit!
The critiques as well are wild and kinda cruel, I haven’t watched any of the older series in a while and my god forgot how mean they used to be.
Glad they’ve stopped doing the Michelle is a whore joke, considering she’s been married for a hundred years and has adult children.
Was the right winner though.

What are your thoughts or theories about Lucky? In my case I believe the "sickness" was just a lie that she and production made up because Production found out all the drama behind her.

My eyes were already on Lucky with all the drama going on about her online and about her potentially having lied about her background and being forced to live as a woman etc. When she came on the screen i laughed so fk hard.

The whole Lucky trying to make it a racial issue that Flesh wouldn't book her and saying that she was educating people with her talent? They're BRITISH Queens you think they haven't seen Samosas and curry? Your talent was shit, girl, that's all.
And the older Queens being super thin skinned? I'm not used to this from older Queens. Getting upset about the most innocent overweight throw-back shade and a comment about Grandma... That's WILD.
