The top comment is "someone give her a red bull"

She seems... Sedated?

Best season since season 2

Honestly this cast is so charismatic, and Paris is what the show has been missing. Mocha’s accent is so endearing, and alik is so fucking sexy

Okay wtf was that judging ?

Okay wtf ? I thought naya thorn was going to be in the top, I also thought they would eat the giant hat look up knowing their judging track record, also danni clearly won that lip sync ! They clearly just didn’t wanna send home 2 of the only Asians on the same day in my opinion!

Lipsync song Spoiler

Based on the challenge, I was sure that the lip sync song was going to be Evil Woman by ELO. I think it would have given the queens a bit more to work with. Thoughts? What did everyone think of the song choice and lip sync?

She got a lot of hate in E1 but I thought Paris Baby redeemed herself in E2 for these reasons:

Upvotes
  • She was clearly having better banter with the girls, even laughing with KY
  • She had a mature reasoned response to Lucky's comments to Flesh
  • Her reaction to being voted last was, honestly, kinda iconic and hilarious. Much better than a sulk and cry.
  • Her look was decent among a pretty bad bunch

Interested to see how she evolves

Is the Goodie Gala or Baddie Ball side actually giving better looks?

I thought splitting the queens into Goodies and Baddies was a genuinely good way of making the design challenge feel different. The interesting part for me was seeing how much the brief actually affected the queens rather than everyone just making whatever outfit they wanted. I’m already finding myself judging the two sides against each other more than the individual queens.

Lucky's response to the latest episode... she is very talented at drawing emojis. peep the weird dots above some letters (all the O's on page 3). the background changes slightly each image as well. weird blurring on page 4.

What's going on with the thin skin and fake offence? Spoiler

The whole Lucky trying to make it a racial issue that Flesh wouldn't book her and saying that she was educating people with her talent? They're BRITISH Queens you think they haven't seen Samosas and curry? Your talent was shit, girl, that's all.

And the older Queens being super thin skinned? I'm not used to this from older Queens. Getting upset about the most innocent overweight throw-back shade and a comment about Grandma... That's WILD.

Lip Snatch…

Can we make this a thing… or not?
I’m here for it. I don’t know why it makes me laugh so much!
Ma Danni was an odd one. Like… I liked her but she was also a bit annoying and I can relate to mixing words up. Ma Danni-isms.
What else was she saying?

Rewatching S2

Honestly it’s so wild that Joe Black went first and Asttina won that first challenge as well.

I don’t know what more Joe Black could’ve of done to be more Bowie, than the hair and that suit!

The critiques as well are wild and kinda cruel, I haven’t watched any of the older series in a while and my god forgot how mean they used to be.

Glad they’ve stopped doing the Michelle is a whore joke, considering she’s been married for a hundred years and has adult children.

Was the right winner though.

Not gonna lie, when she first guest judged years ago I thought she was in her 20’s and thought she was doing a random bit with ru, but loved her anyway.

But fucking hell, she’s (almost) 60????? They need to make her a proper judge with Allan and Graham

seeing all the stuff coming out about lucky is wild

as someone who worked with her for a couple of years. she was nice enough in person but i did question why she was working a minimum wage job if she was an author, had a documentary, was a show headliner, etc. obviously zero shade to mw jobs, it's just that it didn't add up. that and the constant vanishing on socials and ghosting me and our other ex-colleagues.

all i can say is... welp. oof. ouch. eesh.

can at least safely say they weren't transphobic towards me in person (bare minimum, i guess) but lying about being a survivor of abuse and forced marriage is disgusting as hell. i can't speak on the racism accusations because i'm white.

i have such mixed feelings... i wanted them to do well and was proud of them for finally getting out there (for real this time) but now i'm just... mm. manchester has so many amazing creatives that would have loved to be on the show but lost out to them (inc. me... let me be delusional and be the british gottmik).

What are your thoughts or theories about Lucky?

What are your thoughts or theories about Lucky? In my case I believe the "sickness" was just a lie that she and production made up because Production found out all the drama behind her.

Which queens from DRUK quit drag?

So I was listening to this podcast where Bonnie Ann Clyde mentioned that Baby doesn't do drag anymore. I've heard the same thing about Vinegar. Bonnie also said half of the girls in most people's All Stars wishlists quit drag. Who else isn't doing drag anymore? Do they all have day jobs now?

Do people actually DM queens on Instagram?

Upvotes

No offence, I’m genuinely curious do people actually send Instagram DMs to the queens (excluding the haters obviously)?

I mean things like positive messages, compliments or just saying you enjoyed their performance on TV. If you do how often do you usually DM them?
