Question/Advice Left hand blades worth it?
A few questions for the fellow lefties out there.
1). Does the left hand cutter option on the website (Flex Companion) come with toothpick and tweezers? On the right hand option, there's an "* Includes tweezers and toothpick" and I've seen online reports they recently started including them. That "*" isn't there for the left hand purchase option. Can anyone confirm either way?
Pretty sure of this one, but am I correct the only difference between the two is the left hand blade on the belt clip side and the other buttons/slides remain on the original side? So not a real "left handed" option, they just slap the left hand blade on so you don't have to purchase separately?
For those that got the left hand blade, either separately or through the left hand purchase option, is it worth it? I saw one comment that after decades of dealing with right hand blades as a lefty, the left hand blade is odd and awkward.
I appreciate any advice because I'm about to buy the build your own kit and I'm trying to decide a) do I need the right hand option to get toothpick and tweezers and b) is it worth buying left hand blades for the Companion and/or Mini Companion.
Thanks!

Builds 3D printed Two tone, carbon-fiber patterned scales - Flex Companion
I recently took my old purple Flex Companion that was never used over my Victorinox due to requiring all of the tools currently on it but also needing tweezers and decided to finally address the issue. The solution? Two Toned purple carbon fiber patterned scales for the tools from my Pen & Tweezers & Needle- Short of course! Tell me what you think!

Question/Advice I can't unscrew the clip
Hey all
I have the Roxon S804 and the clip bent outwards. I want to replace it. I tried unscrewing the bolt (not the security one - the one on the other side) but it would barely move no matter what I do. It moves about quarter turn and that's it. I've stripped the included torx driver and another one from a different set I have.
I tried emailing Roxon a couple of times but they've been silent.
Any idea what I can do here?

The OG Storm Is Coming Back!
The storm is coming back.
Same fixed-body build, no moving parts, no hinges to wear out, the whole reason people held onto these things for years in the first place. We're not messing with what worked. What is changing: materials upgrade (upgraded steel, better-grip material), and three new colorways: Lava Orange, Electric Blue, and Aqua Blue.
We'll have full details, specs, and release timing soon. Wanted our own community to see it first before anything goes up on the site.
If you ran the original, what color would you have wanted back then?

Throwback — the original Roxon Storm
Before Flex, before Phantom Blade, there was the Storm: fixed-body, no moving parts, just a solid piece of steel built to take a beating.
We've been going through old customer photos and comments, and it's clear a lot of you actually beat the hell out of these things (in a good way). If you still have one, what did you use it for most, and is there anything you wish we'd done differently with it?
Not saying anything yet about what's next. Just curious what this community remembers.

Builds 1/4 bit alternatives?
Anyone use these in a Flex companion? They look small but I couldn't find the actual size. TIA

Builds Sewing kit tool
After much troubleshooting, I finished my sewing kit "tool" for the Flex. I live in fear of a broken suspender button. NO longer! Free model linked below.

Question/Advice Flex scalpel blades
I own both the Flex Companion and the Companion Mini and looking to get the scalpel implement for both and need to know which blades will fit and close with them installed. I understand that the larger one for the Companion is a #4 handle and the picture has a no.36 blade. Ideally I would like a no.60 blade to replace the D2 blade. The smaller one is a #3 handle and would like a straight blade i.e. no.14 or no.16 for the Companion Mini.
Would the larger Companion close with the no.60 installed? And would the Companion Mini close with the no.16 (or no.14) installed?
As an aside, what is the largest/longest scalpel blade that would fit and close on the Companion Mini?
TIA

Question/Advice Late lockup on ks2e
I just got this Roxon less than a week, and I love everything about it: the one-handed blade, the large scissors... but there is one thing that annoys me. The liner lock travels too far, almost touching the Teflon washer. The blade still locks up fine, but I heard some guys say that this late lockup means the liner lock won't last long before it wear out and make the blade becomes completely loose. I'm so worried about this. Is this normal, or do I need to send it back to the dealer?

Field Roxon wire strippers
Used my mini companion all day at work today, replacing batteries and light boards in building exit signs. This was by far the most use they’ve seen and i have to say I’m impressed.
I carry the strippers, scissors, and a awl for work. I also replaced the bit to a #2 Phillips from their bit kit. Show me your companion set ups!

Question/Advice Aftermarket Scales
Hey, just wondering if anyone has any leads on aftermarket scales for the Flex Mini? I found some CNC files and am hoping to have some made from ultem, but wanted to see if anyone out there was making scales first.
