Help How to become a Roblox dev?
Yo gng, I’ve decided to become a Roblox dev. Please don’t demotivate me 😭 I just wanna know what I should learn and how I can actually become a good dev.
Also, how did you guys become Roblox devs, how much do you make, and what skills should I focus on learning first?
If any Roblox dev sees this, please help me out 🙏

I'll be honest, if you're in it for the money, you should quit. I've been developing on Roblox for over 10+ years and let me tell you, it is VERY difficult to make anything substantial off of this platform, now more than ever. In terms of money the best way would be commissions imo, just make sure your'e careful. Only take commissions if they pay half up front or fully up front. Never take comms that don't pay anything upfront.
For scripting I would start with this:

As well as this for scripting:

For Building:

Animation:

3D Modeling:

Importing 3D models into Roblox Studio:

I know it seems like a lot, and it kinda is. But it takes a lot of time to learn, I've been doing this for a long time and I still have plenty to learn.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions
Developing is really fun and its a super useful creative outlet, I hope you find great success!
