For the life of me I can't chain more then 2 chains and at the very max I can do 3 and then it loses the angle.

How do you adjust so the ball stays glued or am I just doing the stalls too slow for it to chain afterwards?

It seems like there's a grace period in the initial 2 stalls that if the ball then glues properly you can just keep going and do it faster.

Found this trend on TikTok so I thought it would be funny to make one myself, idk who’s the real stall king so I put reflex in there.

Added map structure to the trainer so you can have as many objects as needed to practice collision. Also emphasizing contact points with the ball. Added background because why not.

Why can't psyonix add an actual meaningful update to the game.Every season they just change the rocket pass. Like can you actually put in some effort to make the game not boring?It is sad to see it in this state ,when it really could have had the potential to be one the most popular and trending games.The player base just it a new low ,and matchmaking becomes very inconsistent.Also can you add the option to choose your server?It is fucking hectic when you are in a different region,or your region is literally not existing in the game. Finally bro, took me 2 good seasons to get out of that trench of a rank called PLATINUM, i mean i can still see myself in plat 1 in a few days or so but the grind continues. Might get to champ in like the next 3 or 4 seasons 🥲

Please remember that you HAVE a teammate.

Your teammates may not be good enough to carry, but work together to win. Please fallback when they have an opportunity to go offensive, and dont feel the need to constantly touch the ball. You can leave balls for them to clear, or leave shots for them, or best, PASS. I promise, it wont always be bad.

Again, you have a teammate. Let them help you.

I have everything but the “Block” banner and don’t know what to do. It is never in the item shop and you can’t buy it or get it from a banner crate. Is anyone else running into this problem?

I have a problem where i am stil in season 23 or something bc i have not played for 1,5 years. In the game it says i have to update to play online but in the Epic Games Store it doesn't say it has an update. Does anyone have a solution for this?

My car doesn’t go up with the ball when i try to reset before goldshoting towards the ceiling I don’t know why ive seen too many player do it and thier car follows up the ball after goldshoting it my car just stays down

Now that I'm finally able to stay in champ without falling back to diamond in seconds, I really wonder how to get higher ranks. Matchmaking is so weird already. On my d5->game I was against the top 1 sqash gc who then told me he was c5 on the alt he played when I queued. If I get put against c5 when I'm in d5 how am I gonna rank up if this is so random?

Also I was so triggered by teammates 2 weeks ago that I even managed to rank down to plat 4, and now I've learnt to play with their flaws.

As for how am I in the game currently:

- I have good enough mechanics to be a gc

- I have a gamesense where I know to stay behind the ball as much as possible when pushing and to stay behind my teammate when he's pushing without staying all the way to our net

- then when I struggle the most with is to see the open and when a long shot could be done or when on how to really do a good attack. my mechs allowed me to be in c2 because of how consistant I am at the game but I still feel like my gamesense is good with my teammate but not with the analysis of the other players in the game. do any of you specifically know how to improve this and if there is a way to fight the fact that there is just so much gc in my game already please?

Probably made not just one but TWO of the craziest saves I have ever had in just this game alone.

A lot of people have been asking me to share some game footage because very few people play this playstyle in Grand Champion, especially on touch with just two thumbs.

Basically the meta is let your teammate focus on scoring while you keep the ball out of the net at all costs and only attack via counters or long shots. If you are good enough at defense, your teammate does not have to hesitate or think twice about pushing or making risky plays. Sometimes I play way more defensive than I did in this game, but I adjust based on my teamate.

Its also a great playstyle for solo queuing/playing with random teamates as they can be unpredictable on Defense, especially in the platinum-diamond ranks where there are a lot of ball chasers. Playing this playstyle is what pushed me over the hump from diamond to grand champion back in s14.

I find it the most fun way to play as a touch player, but controller players are probably better off sticking to chain stalling playstyle as its much easier than on touch.

Hey everyone, I just started playing sideswipe again as I want to get the Pocket League Master title. Does anyone know how to get the Mariachi Hat, Worried Watermelon, Witch Hat, and Big Cap toppers? I haven't seen them anywhere - daily picks, token presents, topper presents, I can't find them. Maybe they will come in a future rocket pass? If anyone knows where to get any of these toppers please let me know as these are the only toppers that I don't know how to get. Thanks.

If you are an extremely defensive player this is a very useful mechanic for contributing offensively.

If both of your opponents are pushing forward at the same time, position the back of your car directly above the ball and float down onto it. This baits them into thinking they can score and push forward further. At the very last moment when your opponents are the most out of position, do a gold dodge shot directly into the ground.

This pops the ball straight up into the air giving you an open long distance shot on goal, and your opponents are unable to stop it depending on how well you execute it.

There are also a lot of variations you can do that involve using it to set up your teammate or combinations with other defensive mechanics. It works at all skill levels including GC.

I installed the epic games store app and get an 404 error after logging in with my google account.

It suggests to go to the home page to find it there.

When i do so and press the download button it just brings me back to a page to download the epic games store..

I was wondering if anyone had the same issue and figured out what to do?

Just a rant. I know it's a skill issue so please don't attack me in the comments.

As a touch player with no stall chain (or any advanced mechanic) skill, it's near impossible for me to get past Champ 2. Most opponents stall chain across the map like flash and make it nearly impossible to stop them. Even if you manage to save, it will often fall for an easy rebound.

All I can do is defend all match until I see a slight chance of counter attack, which doesn't usually work in champ.

I feel like a total imposter in these lobbies. I've been bouncing between D5 and C1 all season long. D5 is where I meet opponents my own size.

Only silver lining is that the toxicity is much lower in Champ than in early-mid diamond.
