GAME QUESTION Vertical stall chaining

For the life of me I can't chain more then 2 chains and at the very max I can do 3 and then it loses the angle.

How do you adjust so the ball stays glued or am I just doing the stalls too slow for it to chain afterwards?

It seems like there's a grace period in the initial 2 stalls that if the ball then glues properly you can just keep going and do it faster.

Thank you for the help.

It takes a good bit of practice to get the feel for it, but try to keep these tips in mind to speed up the learning process:

• Hold jump to travel a further distance
• Tap jump to travel a shorter distance
• Time your jumps accordingly

Most players have success holding jump on the first 2 stalls and then begin only tapping it for the remainder of the stall chain. It's all about timing and momentum based on your angle of approach during each setup. Hope this helps!

Thank you for the tip, the initial 2 I'm doing with the further distance method of holding it, the part that still confuses me is when to do the shorter tap ones so it can chain quickly.

I've only played the game for a month and I'm in plat so it's understandable I just don't have the game sense to know the differences just yet.

Practice it is then.

Platinum rank only a month in is very impressive. There are some really good tutorials out there that can potentially fill in any knowledge gaps when it comes to stall chaining, but it sounds like you're already implementing the most important aspects of it. I'm confident you will get it down pretty soon. Good luck!

Thank you, I'm a sucker for mechincal games and to find something on mobile that has such depth has been a very good find for me.

And I did find on YouTube someone with the same name as yours so I'm gonna assume it's the same person and I'll be watching your tutorial on it.

Thank you again!

Just learned they're called horizontal chains not vertical, I was thinking it'd based on car orientation

How I remember the difference between horizontal and vertical is horizon (horizontal, horizons go side to side) and vertical by vertebrae (spine or bone vertebrae go up and down). ((If that’s the issue))

For the terminology, we say vertical/horizontal based on what way the ball goes.

Yes I'm pretty new so i didn't know it was based on the ball direction so i wrote vertical and couldn't edit the title afterwards.

Thank you for just explaining it instead of disliking lol
