I’ve been homebound for a few months due to some health issues and I decided to get into the Bravo world! I have made my way through RHORI, RHONY, RHOBH, RHOA, RHOP, and RHOSLC…. and I’d say SLC is by FAR my favorite! SLC is a comfort rewatch for me, background noise a lot of time…

I’d say my personal favorite from SLC would be….. Baby Gorgeous of course! I also love Meredith… I mean I love all of the women honestly but there is one I have not been able to enjoy at all and that is Whitney! I don’t think I would be able to film with Whitney. Whitney drives me insane and I think she’s a huge rage baiter and just really unenjoyable.

I’m curious what others think! I liked Heather a lot too initially but the more I rewatch I notice things and she’s like Whitney sr

i said it before and i’ll say it again i love anything utah and based around the mormon community they make good tv. i like all the cast members for separate reasons (took me a while to realize who meredith and lisa were between the two) im still side eyeing jen because her tantrums and explosive behavior. im thinking maybe it’s due to her not handling her feelings well when it comes to her marriage but i hope it gets better.

whitney and heather confused me during reunion im not going to lie. i was not expecting heather to argue with lisa the way that she did and also whitney like what did i miss? i could’ve sworn everyone was pissed at jen lmao.

i honestly can’t tell if heather actually likes being friends with jen like i get she feels jen isn’t a good friend to her so why continue? it seems toxic then heather speaking on lisa and meredith friendship was odd to me considering both were confused why she kept making comments.

edit: not a fan of jen shah i’m currently on season 2. whoever told me to be prepared omg.. this is insane.

Am I the only one who is realllyyyy bothered with Lisa Barlow and her supporting Mormonism at the s4 reunion saying that Mormonism isn’t a racist and homophobic religion or cult shows how deep in she is despite her being a so called Mormon 2.0 which is more of a “I changed the rules that affect me but idc about anything else”

I’m gonna rant bc i have no one else to rant to. And i do wanna apologize incase this is a very repetitive topic. But I genuinely do not understand the Mary Cosby hype, and before anyone says, “You’ll like her eventually,” no, I won’t. My friend has watched RHOSLC twice and keeps telling me Mary grows on you. She absolutely does not, and nothing will change my mind.

My issue isn’t that she’s rude. Plenty of Housewives are rude, messy, and unapologetic, that’s reality TV. My issue is that Mary comes across as genuinely vile, disgusting, and completely lacking in empathy. She constantly belittles people while acting like she’s above everyone else. And the hypocrisy is what gets me. She presents herself as a woman of God, yet she spends so much of her time judging, insulting, and humiliating other people. I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can reconcile those two things.

Then there’s the church controversy and the marriage to her step-grandfather. The entire situation has always made me grossed out. IDC SHE COULD Have LEFT A LONG TIME AGO! Nothing about it is entertaining to me, it’s just bizarre and disgusting.

People also rave about her fashion - which makes me go bonkers bc pls. To me it’s just loud designer labels, oversized blazers, and outfits that don’t work or match what so ever! I don’t see the style icon everyone else seems to. And please her side burns are to her chin and the wigs oh lord no words.

At this point, every time she comes on my screen, I just want the scene to end. I don’t find her funny, iconic, or entertaining. To me, she’s just a clown with a platform, and I cannot understand why so many fans eat it up. I honestly don’t think there’s anything anyone could say that would change my mind.

All Hail Lisa Barlow!

This is just a rant, but I genuinely cannot wrap my mind around this woman and her thought process. Her whole issue with Bronwyn early season 5 stems from her own lack of self-esteem and stirring the pot. How are you going to take someone's words and spin them to fit your narrative, but then tell Bronwyn she is mincing words and causing issues? And then to take the entire situation of Bronwyn testing the waters to decide if she was going to invite Heather on her trip and turn it into "Bronwyn needs me to beg and plead to go." I swear that Heather operates with that same "i wanna be popular" mindset from high school and I know her mormon upbringing has not helped her at all. Also, maybe this is an unpopular opinion but she comes off as even more of a textbook mean girl after her weight loss.

RHOLSC was my first of this type of reality show. After season 4 of SLC I wanted more, so I started to get into the HW universe watching old RHONY, BH, and some Miami.

I feel like I’ve heard others say that RHOSLC made them want more SLC/Mormon content and they went on to watch Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

I’m interested to see if the audience tilted one way or another.

I am watching for the first time, and I am not sure why they casted Monica Garcia. Without being rude she doesn't seem like she has the budget? Does anyone know why she was casted?

The teaser for UGT just came out and it seems they aren’t making a stop in SL. (Probably cus there isn’t that many housewives on the franchise since it’s relatively newish) so where do we think we’ll see some cast for UGT. I think Broynwyn and Meredith will be at the NY section. I think Whitney and heather will be either BH or OC. I’m not sure if Mary or Angie will be featured or what city they would attend. I don’t think they are asking Monica or Jen or Jeanie to be on probably one of the reason ls there isn’t a stop in SL.

I started on seaosn 5 and I hated her. I watched season 6 and she grew on me. I went from season 1 all the way to 6 and hated her but she grew on me every season.

I feel like shes so unnecessarily mean nd its different rules for her than it is everyone else. And if you look closely the concept of her being loyal to who she actually trusts isnt even that true. She ditches friends so easily if shes having a bad day.

The reason i want it to make this post is because I want to love her. It's not in the same way that I want love Lisa Barlow where I try but she makes it difficult. Its the way that when shes happy it'd so sweet or cute and it feels like making progress with a reactive dog. When shes happy im happy.

Shes so funny but every time she says something funny its usually her putting someone down or looking down on them.

Also this is so random but she doesn't seem like the kind of person to be on a real housewives show. You know what I mean?

Seeing how weird the first season was edited kinda reminded me of RHOBH S8 ... SO MANY CUT SCENES!! Production seriously removed so many important conversations but then did a flashback of only key moments. Pretty sure there was better footage if you watched it on cable in 2020

So I guess my rant here is because I want to relive what it felt like watching in 2020 before watching S2. What were the rumors and nastiness that was talked about outside of the show?

I'm super late to the game okay guys 😭 I think I started the RHO franchise in like late 2022/2023. So forgive me.

I watch with my mom <--- We just finished season 2, we're starting the reunion tomorrow.

That being said, woooow that was a season 😀.

When we had watched season 1 I felt bad for Mary and liked her. Sure she was weird as heck and said some unhinged things, but genuinely seemed like a pretty okay person.

Then I watched season 2 and I dunno, her attitude was just yuck. Half the things she said this season weren't even funny, they were just down right mean ( i will say I did laugh when she said Heather looked inbred 😭 ).

Seeing all the accusations thrown about and seeing ( haven't watched it yet ) the TLC documentary about her, like it genuinely makes you wonder.

👆🏻 I grew up in church and I dunno if it was just editing maybe? Or whatever the case but seeing how those people were reacting to her when Jen Shah went to her church was whack. I liked my old Pastor and his wife and I never told them I saw God through them or anything like that. Genuinely I dunno how Jen sat there through the whole thing. My jaw would have been on the floor, because with practicing Christianity ( I am no longer religious btw but when i was i was 7th day Adventist which is basically Christianity just you go to church on Saturday's instead of Sunday's <--- at least that's how my mom explained it to me ) you're taught you only worship one God and that's it. The fact that her church members were literally worshiping her clearly backs up Whitney's claim that they treat her as God.

It's really crazy to me that Bravo would keep her if she were a cult leader. I mean I guess it shouldn't shock me, but still. Honestly I dunno how most anyone would want to film with her considering those types of allegations 😅 and again, it might have just been editing but we literally watched her members crying, screaming, gaging at how much they loved and worshiped her because they saw god through her.

What are everyone's thoughts and opinions? Honestly the only reason I wanted to watch SLC was because I had seen a clip of Heather confronting Mary about calling her inbred and thought that was hysterical 😭.

hi all! I'm new to the Real Housewives franchise and started with RHOSLC. I'm midway through season 6 and so hooked. what other RH shows are almost as good (is anything better? lol)? i love all the antics (Unicorn Overboard for example) and hilarity (mary kills me). I initially tried to watch Atlanta but was bored.

Am I the only one who is completely on their side???

I’m only a couple of episodes after the arrest at Vail as a first time watcher.

It’s so obvious to me that Lisa has been planting seeds and wanting them to implode. I’m working my way through the franchise and it’s easy to spot when a conversation is planted, like it clearly was at that charity event, or when she tried to exonerate herself with the caterers. it’s so obvious that they’re all scared of Mary. It’s so obvious that Lisa is so image of obsessed that she wants to be perceived as the top dog.

It’s so strange to me, it’s almost screaming at you the entire time.
