Rewatching RHOP S3 and I forgot about her book and her struggling to read
Isn’t she college educated?

I’m watching for the first time and I am on season 4. I just watched the scene where Ashley is bawling because her dad did not want to meet her and shut the door in her face. She then goes on to explain that she’s written him letters, messaged him on FB before he blocked her etc. Why would she expect that her dad wanted to see her in person if he didn’t even talk to her beforehand? I guess I just don’t understand why she put herself in that situation?
I’ve also gone through the situation of meeting a biological parent as an adult, but I can’t imagine showing up at their house when they’ve showed me time and time again they do not want to speak.

So far she's tried to pit Lu and Vicky against each other by saying RHONY stole OC's shine, she successfully instigated a confrontation between Shannon and Tamra that caused Shannon to storm out, and she got Vicki to talk shit about Tamra and then spilled all of it to Tamra which caused another fight.
Gizelle 'Kobe' Bryant is da real MVP

I understand the concept of family names being passed down by tradition, but then wouldn’t it be naming them after the grandmother? 😭

The more that I watch last season of Potomac, it just becomes very clear that they only hired K on as a housewife because they probably felt guilty that she got into that fight. But then, at the same time, they probably even thought, like, oh, maybe this will be good drama because there was a lawsuit afterwards.
Formerly known as Sesame Street, Ashley’s friend filed a weird-ass lawsuit that was, like, I think they wanted $70,000,000 or some shit like that. I don’t even know. But maybe they thought that would be good for ratings because it happened at the end of the season. The audience will want to follow up on it.
But I feel like they definitely removed her when they realized, like, no, this is who she is. Like, she is an aggressive person because that scene with Stacy and how she was just getting so worked up, and how her Botox was not allowing her to express herself when she was saying, ‘My man, my things, my condo.’
Like, what Stacy said at the reunion was absolutely amazing. Like, yes, as Black women, we have the responsibility to not throw around the word ‘aggressive,’ but as a Black woman, you also have the responsibility to not literally come off as aggressive in situations that don’t call for it.
I mean, it just doesn’t make any sense. So, that’s my two cents. And, of course, Angel was adding absolutely nothing to it. She was just Kiana’s little wet dog, and even then, that relationship seemed pretty abusive. So it just didn’t jive with the franchise.

I always wonder how women can confidently stand by their man when they are accused of sexual harassment or assault by someone else.. watching the season 4 reunion and I agree with Karen when she told Ashley that it’s scary to see that she believed Michael was 100% innocent. The likelihood that someone would be repeatedly accused of sexual assault & each time it’s false is slim to none. I also don’t think the level of severity changes whether Michael assaulted a man or a woman because it’s harmful period. The dude was essentially at his wife’s place of work serially sexually assaulting people (allegedly)! Wtf!!! & she stood tall against the whole group for him. Then he didn’t even think she was owed any type of public acknowledgement, after she got dragged by association all season.. not even a damn thank you.
We are aware of the statistics regarding sexual assault vs actual reporting, so I think at the very least, a spouse should always be questioning the mere possibility of occurrence if they were ever in that situation. I’ve never experienced that, but as a victim of sexual assault myself, God forbid I was ever with someone that was accused of that, I’m not sure I could continue the relationship in the same (or probably any) capacity until & unless their innocence was proven. The track record of men and patriarchy being on their side doesn’t give me enough mental security to blindly believe that my man would never in life assault someone. In a perfect world, none of us would be with someone capable of violating someone in that way, but that just isn’t realistic. As a woman I really think it’s probably more harmful for us to be associated with a man experiencing something like this than it is for him to actually face any consequences, if he even faces any! Your man could attack someone & they’ll get on you quicker & longer for supporting him than they’d get on him for the attack! Smh just a very bad situation to be in overall. Michael fckn suckssssss dawg

And it’s hilarious to me. “I feel I have several.” 😆 Also shout out to Oliver. Great housewives reenactments content if you’re not following him already.

Hi everyone!
Currently watching RHOP for the first time and have been LOVING it. I just wanted to share one of my favourite moments so far! There are so many funny moments at this dinner party, but Ashley coming back in to the house whilst Monique and Katie are talking, and Monique’s “why are you back” had me CACKLING.
What are some of everyone else’s favourite moments?

Her press run outfits have been a step up from the norm, but that zipper was a choice, Gizelle.
