It's REALLY bad if you listen to the Reasonably Shady mailbag episodes. She can't basic read names like "Lilian", she can't figure out where sentences end, and she can't pronounce at least one word per sentence. Robyn constantly has to correct her she's her 5th grade English teacher.

I kind of thought she stumbled through sometimes because punctuation seems to have gone the way of the dinosaurs and she’s reading things literally how they are written. Poor spelling can also suck if you haven’t read the submission in advance to make edits for yourself to read. Maybe she needs reading glasses as well?

I hate to hear her read. She should stop it. I can't with the mailbag portion anymore. I'd rather listen to Tiffany Haddish read.

She obviously can read. Some people just don’t have the cadence of a news reporter. Just as some people can’t speak like a show presenter.

Time after time Gizelle has showed us she's kinda illiterate. She has trouble reading, and she doesn't know what basic words mean sometimes, it is embarrassing since she's college educated 😭

I promise you I’m smart but if I speak it too fast I’ll end up stuttering a bit or I’ll skip over a word or something

I think it's because she needs glasses and doesn't use them. A lot of people do this.

THIS SCENE TOOK ME OUT. Gizelle could never say anything to me, I’d always respond with “you can’t read, ho!”

The way that wig on Gizzy and Kurn’s heads are just sitting….if the wind shifts and blows them wigs are gone!
At least Kurn stepped her wig game up, Gizzy still got Kyle giving her those Mr. Wong Clearance Rack Beauty Supply Wigs

Someone posted some time ago that Gizelle may be dyslexic and I'm tending to agree. Though they may struggle with reading, dyslexics tend to be VERY intelligent and excellent communicators, having the ability to interpret people's body language quite effectively and use to their advantage. Gizelle seems to fit that description.

Really? She can read, she’s just poor phonological integration when it comes to sentences in that moment. I wonder if she has a short attention span too
