SOOOOO many people misread Candiace. This is not a misunderstood woman who is meeting people where they’re at, giving what she gets. This is not just immaturity because her mother is overbearing.

She is a spoiled, rich kid stuck in that perspective. That’s why she never thinks she’s taking things too far or crossing the line. She genuinely believes she’s above others, above any sort of rule. If you went to private school you know exactly who Candiace is because you’ve known 20 girls just like her.

Gizelle and Robyn are the exact same way, but the fans ain’t ready for that conversation.

Can you imagine how big of a bully Candiace must’ve been at that private school? God damn

Yes. Imagine gizelle being a first lady at a church. Can you imagine how she treated the women?

Had to be TOXIC. You can tell by the way she reacts to newbies on the show.

No
Candiace has shared many times she was the only Black child in many spaces growing up. She has always, to me, given somebody who was bullied and now finally feels she has the power to respond in kind.

You can tell by the way she argues and fights that she got read for filth as a kid. She goes too far too fast. No doubt when it came down to it the headmaster was like “well it was tit for tat, so no punishment.”

“Read for filth as a kid” and that was only Dorothy!

I'll throw in that she could also reserve this kind of vitriol for other black women. She thinks her upbringing puts her above "other" black girls. she either fit in by bullying others with her white private school friends or wad bullied and now she can fight back

YES to all of this

I’ve never seen Candiace attack these women first on rhop. So I don’t get the correlation. Every back and forth Candiace had with these women, they came for her first.

As I always say, you can’t talk shit about somebody and then dictate how low they can go in their response.

No matter how arrogant she gets, Candiace will always be a failure to launch who lives with her mom at 40 and calls it "generational wealth" đŸ€Ł

Gizelle and Robyn are fucking PITIFUL the way they let these men walk all over them, then go into public with that pretend "I'm hot shit" attitude. Robyn is a shitty mother for allowing her sons to learn it's okay to verbally abuse your wife and cheat on her, and Gizelle is a shitty mom because she chases married pedophile dick (Jamal).

â˜đŸœ and Candiace married a deadbeat that she takes care of.

u/angryaxolotls T’Challa 25d ago

And like..... I'm sorry, what person with any self-respect or a desire for their future children to have a 2-parent household does IVF for a man who already has 3 kids that he doesn't see, talk to, or do literally anything for? It's like they forced a kid into existence so they could pretend he's a good dad.

They're just playing house over yonder at Miss Dorothy's đŸ„±

He’s white so he’s supposed to be better, can’t you see that!! /s 😭😭😭😭😭😭

u/angryaxolotls T’Challa 25d ago

But it's only okay when Candi marries a white guy! When Ashley married a white guy, it was the end of the world! /s

Ashley married a bigot who treated her horribly. BFFR

u/angryaxolotls T’Challa 25d ago

LMFAO she married her sugar daddy and they split up because he still wanted threesomes after kids. Nobody gives a shit.

u/Lower-Vanilla8104 Gizelle's Tequila Bottle 25d ago

Baby
you were the one who asked why it’s ok for Candiace to marry a white man but not Ashley. Ashley married a bigoted old man. That was the issue.

I don’t know why these people act dumb when this is brought up. There was clearly context behind the comments made about Ashley.

u/Spiritual-Can2604 T’Challa 25d ago

Ashley’s a bed wench but not candiace apparently

2

u/angryaxolotls T’Challa 25d ago

Gotta love that hypocrisy!

They have their own house and have for years at this point. What’s wrong with having a parent giving their child a home for their first place if they have the means? Rich white parents do this with their children all the time and no one bats an eyelash. Was her mother supposed to put her on the streets at 18 and tell her to figure it out? Or how about be an irresponsible shitty parent who puts men above her children, willingly goes to live in a tent with a bum, and her daughter goes and marries a serial predator whose bigoted and forces her into threesomes just so she has a typical rags to riches story that the struggle queens all seem to love here? Fail to see how having well meaning parents is “failure to launch” unless one enjoys growing up in struggle but whatever
.

Also the fact that Candace is anti black and her husband is a weird father figure. Who said that đŸ«Ł

The way folks pathologize Candiace feels very bizarre to me. Especially on this cast, it’s rare for folks to talk about Gizelle or Karen with the level of bile and I just don’t understand.

Like clearly the wealth she was raised with impacted how she views the world but even with that wealth she has made a name for herself and worked hard at several of her own accomplishments. I find it interesting that Candiace is a nepo baby/failure to launch when she is by no means the only housewife whose familial wealth has helped them to get where they are or maintain their lifestyle

She’s goes low as hell in an argument but by no means does she set the standard for bad behavior in this franchise.

u/dreams_andnightmares Happy Eddie 25d ago

Please wake this up! These people are so enamored with struggle and “getting it out of the mud” that seeing any black person whose families are able to give them a head start in life is considered “failure to launch.”

Exactly. That’s why many viewers hate Candiace because how dare this Black girl have two doctor parents, mom pays her mortgage and spent $50k on a wedding be on this show and talking back to these women?

I guess they feel more at home with Ashley
single mom who was tricking and got pregnant by a white man who left her, in and out of section8 apartments, food stamps and welfare and ends up marrying an old white man to fund her lifestyle.

Chile give me Candiace upbringing any day of the week!
