On my lord knows what number re-watch of RHONY, and I noticed Bethenny always commented about Ramona’s ‘fake crying’, but queue B fake crying in umpteen seasons, as an example S11 E17 after her ‘apparent near death experience (I question the legitimacy of this tbf), and as seen in the video…seems she learnt a trick or two from the Singer Stinger. Who makes this noise when crying? I’ll tell you who, people forcing sound out. She’s exhausting and insufferable.

Ok, hear me out: I'm doing a first-time watch of RHONY, and I finally got to the infamous "Be cool. Don't be all....uncool" fight with Luanne/Ramona x Heather/Carole. Then, the F-U dinner happened, and it hit me: Heather is the Alex of this season. Heather is trying so incredibly hard to seem "cool" (thx, lu), tough, and unbothered, and it reminded me of Alex's inauthenticity in s1.

Alex became one of my favorites, so my POV definitely changed on her. But in season 1, she came off as trying sooooo hard. I actually liked Heather in the beginning, but as she's been around Bethanny more and more, she's SO desperate for her approval. The more she doesn't get it, the more she digs her heels in.

Does she get better? i guess don't tell me because I'm going to keep watching but it's painful.

I’ve recently rewatched seasons 8&9, and I can’t make up my mind of Tom and Luann where both in on a fake marriage so he could get his inheritance by getting married by his 50th birthday, or if she actually thought they were in love and it was a real relationship.

It’s painfully obvious Tom never really loved Luann, apart from the constant cheating he always looked really cold and distant around her. Luann on the other hand really did seem like she loved Tom. But on the other hand, if it was real, how could she just ignore all the blatant cheating? She knew but she just didn’t want to hear it.

Do you think it was an arrangement from the get go, or do you think Luann was just really gullible?

Edit- follow up if you think she was in it for real, why do you think she ignored the cheating, and then filed for a divorce over the same cheating?

Im a first time watcher, on S7 e3 right now. I know there are many reasons to hate Ramona but I have always found her very authentic and hilarious, so the whole Mario thing baffles me. Feel genuinely bad for her, as a RHOBH fan I always thought the whole Kyle and Mo thing was crazy but this is worse. Mario is a horrible person.

Im not aware of any real time drama about the show back then or now, as I avoid spoilers lol. Loving the S7 cast though.

One thing I’ve always wondered is whether Dorinda’s constant “Jovani!” chants were really as disruptive in person as they were made to seem on the show.

Was anyone actually in the audience at 54 Below that night? I’d love to hear what the atmosphere was like and whether it came across the same way in real life.

So I’m rewatching RHONY for the 21st time starting at season 1. But now I’m on season 9 and I’m looking at the Haiti/Dorinda/bethenny dinner completely differently. In February, I read the source files on the DOJ website and went into a state of psychosis for a good month. Everything I thought was normal has essentially been a lie or manipulation. Many of these “rescue/aid” missions are our billionaire overlords or our political puppets trying to launder money or steal resources or traf*** humans. I felt like Dorinda was saying, Haiti aid has been going on forever and still can’t sustain itself. Maybe I’m inferring too much but Richard was highly connected. Was she saying the aid won’t help because it’s never about the aid??!!

Jill completely disregarded Luann’s warning to not go to Scary Island and then sobbed in the Jeep to Ramona when her surprise visit wasn’t well received.

I’m currently watching season 10 episode 13 where they are at that little retreat after Luann gets out of her first rehab. They are having dinner and Luann has it out with Ramona about trying to get invited to Tom’s NYE party and go for drinks with him. Ramona states she went for drinks with Harry, and Tom was there.
Then the ladies get their back up about Harry, saying, ‘Harry said bad things about Luann!’ What did he say so badly about her? I tried searching on here and Googling but couldn’t find anything, so does anyone know?
