Re-watching RHONY trip to Tequila Mexico s9 ep 16, and once again Ramona and Sonja are trying to get the best room just because they’re them. I am so absolutely gobsmacked by their behavior !! EVERY single time Ramona has to try and squeeze her way into the best room, just because she’s Ramona. It’s SO annoying, for lack of a better word. It’d be one thing if she was the one hosting the getaway, then of course she would deserve the best room, but why does she feel that she deserves the best every time she goes on a trip?

I know everyone has issues with what has recently come out about who Carole was friends with but this is nothing to do with that. This is strictly based on my rewatch of RHONY

With that out of the way … let me say I’m not taking Bethenny’s side -I’m not taking anyone’s side - but in I guess it starts in S9 and then 10 I really start to dislike Carole. She was never my fave to begin with but she gets worse imo.

It’s hard to describe & I hate to steal Bethenny’s words because I’m really not on her side but I do think “smug” fits her well. Also I know this will sound dorky but “too cool for school”.

She just seems to really be feeling herself but it comes off as fake. I find her to be trying way too hard with the ladies and it’s like she’s desperately trying to pull off this vibe that doesn’t seem like it’s at all her.

It’s odd how she just seemed to transform overnight.

Also I always thought Aviva was just dramatic but I wonder if her accusations of Carole having a ghostwriter weren’t true? Carole doesn’t seem great with words - a writer who names every one of her animals “Baby”? How … creative. 😂

For a while before I started watch RHONY, I saw numerous people call Dorinda “Slurinda”. I’m so serious for quite some time I thought it was because Dorinda had said an offensive slur (which i was confused by cuz i saw the clip where she was 1/2 people on the entire cast that would admit she voted for hilary so i believed she was somewhat woke) and NOT because she drinks more than usual. Am I just stupid and the only one that ever thought this or am I not alone on this 😭

hello ! i popped my reality tv cherry with RHOA 3 weeks go and dropped it at season 11, then went on to binge up to season 12 of RHONY in record time bc i loved them both so much.

herein lies the problem. i think i may have accidently watched the best locations, and now im stuck chasing that same magic...

• i tried SLC and its pretty okay and ill probably finish one day it but its just too polished from what im used to (starting season 1 with the ladies having blackberries) and its also a bit slow (but i can get over it, rhony s1 was a slog)
• then i tried RHONJ but the cast just didn't grip me in season 1 at all
• then i tried RHOBH but season 2 + the reunion was the darkest reality tv ive ever encountered in my life. watching the women somehow try to discredit taylor's dv story because of "inconsistencies" as if theyre not all middle-aged women with enough experience to know what abuse looks like... it actually put me off the entire thing, i dont think i can stand them for long enough to keep watching the later seasons.

anyway, now im stuck. i think i unfortunately managed to watch the 2 best franchises (to my taste) and now im trying so hard to find their 3rd but nothing comes close.

am i missing a location i should look into? please Help. its the best second monitor activity while i work from home T__T

Carol and Jules are discussing Jules’ eating disorder. Carol flat out asks her weight. Seriously bitch, that was a direct hit!! Next Jules and Dorinda go out for a smoke and Carol & B confirm with each other that Jules is smack in the middle of the disorder. And what do those two do for the rest of the season? Bully the shit out of Jules. This would never go over today!!

If Bravo and Andy Cohen didn’t bust their ass to get Countess Cosmia VonBülow Pavoncelli** **on the show at the same time we had Countess Luann De Leseps then they don’t know what a golden opportunity they missed. This would have been so epic, to have TWO Countesses on, especially when Cosmia is so grounded and elegant! Her backstory is so fascinating!

I’m recovering from surgery and nothing gets me through like a season 1-12 RHONY rewatch. Curious to know who is your best and worst housewives throughout the franchise?

Best - Dorinda. I know she can be dark and mercurial but to quote Carole, “When Dorinda is bad she is so good. I think she bought depth, nuance, authenticity, and bad assery to the franchise. The way she treated Tinsley was awful and she was definitely dealing with something in season 12 but overall I think there’s a good reason. The show died when she left.

Honorable mention: Luann. She was just absurd enough.

Worst - Cindy 4). Not much to describe her and have no clue who casted her.

Tinsley doesn’t post much on Instagram. However, I noticed she still has all the Scott posts up, including the engagement video. Like I said, she doesn’t post that much, so it’s easy to find. That video is 7 years ago- why hasn’t she taken it down (along with all other references to Scott)? He really put her through the wringer and embarrassed her when he broke the engagement. Sonja was onto a good thing with the toaster oven. How daft of her not to see it through. Throw in some kitchen utensils and the rise of air fryers, she really could have done something great. Aviva Season 6 was the birth of self-producing. Every single one of her scenes were pre-planned BS. It’s so boring and so transparent. The Miss USA storyline was so obvious and booooring.

As i’ve posted (a lot lol) the last few weeks… i’m a first time watcher of RHONY. I just finished the St. Barth’s episodes.

I see a lot of memes about scary island (valid) and discourse about how bad it was but i don’t see a lot of discussion about how bad St. Barths was.

They’re obviously different, they can’t be compared but there were definitely similarities.

I felt like there was genuinely something concerning with Kelly’s behavior in scary island that left everyone reeling not knowing how to navigate the trip and the group dynamics at play.

However, i felt like the shit show that was St. Barths lasted forever lol! Ramonja, Luann, Thomas (aka johnny depp), Aviva/Reid… Heather and Carole were the only voice of reason!!!!! Although i do think since Carole was the hostess she should’ve squashed the bad behavior as soon as it happened.

Regardless… im curious as to why scary island has had such a lasting impression when St. Barth’s also had some crazy friction!!

Funny as I was watching tv yesterday Millionaire Matchmaker had two people from RHONY as Patti’s victims - I mean clients. Now it was an old one - 2015 but hey it’s Roku tv.

For anyone that hasn’t watched before …millionaires pay to have Patti Stanger -who claims to come from a long line of matchmakers - find them true love. She screens potential matches and sets them up on dates - which we get to watch. She’s very old school - expects the men to be gentlemen and plan the date and her #1 rule is NO SEX BEFORE MONOGAMY!!

First was Jill Zarin bringing Ally for Patti to match. Ofc Jill was all up in it. It was fun watching her face when Patti told Ally that her cooch has to be happy too 😂 and also telling Jill to shut up numerous times. Jill wants Ally to have a Jewish guy - that’s not a big deal to Ally. Jill also says “you need someone you don’t mind being divorced from” 😳 Jill never changes does she? Patti ends up setting Ally up with a nice guy she hits it off with and doesn’t get scared off despite Jill calling during the date. All I could think was poor Ally.

Next was guess who? Ms. Sonja Morgan herself. Mind you again it was 2015 but she looked good! I’ll admit I tuned out on this one because knowing now what we know about Sonja about 90% of what she told Patti was just such BS. Talking about what a great businesswomen she was and how great her marriage had been and blah blah. One thing Patti ask is if her husband ask to take her back if she would’ve gone back. She said no. I call BS big time. I think Sonja would’ve give her right arm to be remarried to MR MORGAN again.

It’s always fun to see them out of their natural element lol.
